**Networking operations specialist**
**Overview**
As a member of the Wabtec Global Infrastructure team, the successful candidate is highly collaborative with broad technical Networking skills and the ability to support the implementation and support of WAN, LAN and WLAN solutions and changes across a large organization.
**Essential Responsibilities**
+ Contributor role working with cross functional teams in design and deployment of Network WLAN, LAN and WAN Standards
+ Participate and lead Network projects and initiatives with broad scope and high impact to the business and be a recognized expert in Networking Infrastructure
+ Collaborate across multiple internal teams to ensure successful and timely delivery of the scope of work
+ Work with partner teams and vendors to manage day-to-day operations and reliability of the regional network
+ Contribute in site network design requirements and prepare cost estimates by evaluating business strategies and requirements
+ Define and maintain repeatable reference documentation for network architectures, Develop and maintain operational documentation and procedures.
+ Troubleshoots user network problems (L3 support) providing regular updates to users
+ Monitor network performance and serve as escalation point for incidents impacting Network and Servers operations
+ Responsible for voice and internet circuits QOS
+ Supports development, testing and integration of new hardware and software platforms into the network
+ Document current and future network design
+ Remains actively involved in projects beyond the architectural definition, helping during the Engineering and Implementation phases
+ Support the development, testing and integration of new hardware and software platforms into the network
+ Collaborate with third-party service and support vendors to ensure maximum uptime and prompt problem remediation
+ Provide guidance to Service Desk team members on technical problems
+ Control the Infrastructure network and server projects for the region, ensure project timeline, schedule and escape accomplishment aligned to the global and local business needs
+ Lead to deliver projects that span across one or more business units, including management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery
+ Report status to internal customers and identify and resolve risks that impact project completion; manage time and budget of the projects; initiate action to identify and resolve problems and ensure goals are met;
+ Schedule and facilitate project meetings as required to ensure that all aspects of the project are dealt with professionally and efficiently
**Qualifications/Requirements**
+ Graduation on STEM courses required
+ Advanced English required
+ Minimum of 3 years of information technology experience w/ focus on Networking technologies configuration: Cisco, Aruba, Nexus, HP, CheckPoint, ASA, Fortinet, SDWAN Principals, QOS Principals
+ Experience on WAN/WLAN/LAN designs across an Enterprise Environment
+ Experience on design, implementation and support of data center networking technologies is essential, including vendors such as Cisco, HPE Aruba or Arista.
+ Experience on TCP/IP Protocols and DNS: BGP, eIGRP, OSPF
+ Experience on defining and troubleshooting routing and DNS issues and identifying required steps for remediation
+ ITIL V3/V4 knowledge and/or certification is a plus
+ Cisco or HP Network certification is a plus
+ Past experiences on industrial companies is a plus

+ Excellent communication skills including both verbal and written
+ Ability in handle multiple projects and tasks, make decisions and solve problems while under pressure, and prioritize and organize effectively
Flexibility to work on different shifts during project go-lives and outages
