Position Summary
The Senior Network Engineer should be a dynamic, analytical, proactive individual with strong technical, critical thinking, and communications skills. The Senior Network Engineer is responsible for overseeing the design, installation, configuration and innovation of large-scale network infrastructure and related components across all Life Time corporate, data center and athletic locations. The candidate will take on an engineering, innovative, and advisory role; assist management with budget preparation; development of guidelines, standards and procedures; project deployment of enterprise network systems and services and security; to ensure the network performance provides for the best experience to Life Time and its members.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Build technology solutions in support of Life Time's network strategies and in alignment with business goals.Develop operational standards, procedures and processes for network engineering and operations.Provide recommendations on design solutions taking into account appropriate redundancy, availability, scalability, security and cost.Stay current with network technology and understand the relevance and value of new technology to the business.Assist in the development of guidelines and procedures for administration and security best practices.Provide documentation for processes, topologies, knowledge-base, etc. Analyze network usage, trends, anticipate problems and suggest solutions.Collaborate with partner teams to develop consistent technical solutions, implementation activities and support processes.Develop configuration standards to satisfy industry objectives, monthly, quarterly, and annually necessary to maintain compliancy with regulatory agencies (i.e. PCI, HIPAA)Position Requirements
B.A. or B.S. in a technical field or a relevant combination of education and experience.7 or more years of experience designing, implementing, and administering complex network environments.4 or more years of experience with Palo Alto Firewall configuration and administration in a multi-site deployment.4 or more years of experience with Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE 2.x).1 or more years of experience in a Sr role.Previous hospitality or retail experience is a plusBenefitsAll team members receive the following benefits while working for Life Time:
