Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team working on a diverse range of projects in both public and private sectors. Our projects span complex environments including healthcare facilities, military sectors, and government renovations, with a commitment to delivering high-quality, sustainable, and LEED-certified design solutions.
Responsibilities
Design and develop mechanical systems for healthcare spaces, military facilities, and government buildings.Conduct constructability reviews of drawings and coordinate with consultants and contractors.Perform on-site fieldwork to ensure project specifications are met.Review calculations, drawings, and specifications, providing constructive feedback.Engage in construction administration services and support project management.Contribute to business development efforts by leveraging expertise in mechanical engineering.Essential Skills
8 - 12 years of HVAC and plumbing experience.Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.Professional Engineer (PE) license in the State of California.Experience with public projects and estimating.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other mechanical engineering software.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in laboratory and hospital design, data centers, and educational facility design.Experience with Procore platform.Strong attention to detail and the ability to take initiative.Work Environment
The position offers a hybrid/remote work option after 90 days for individuals who demonstrate the ability to effectively complete their work. The office is located in a cubical setting along the Sacramento River, providing a professional and serene work environment.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $85.00/hr.
