Primary Duties & Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Cleanroom System Design
Develop and review designs for mechanical systems supporting cleanroom spaces and manufacturing infrastructure (e.g., HVAC, CDA, vacuum, PCW, exhaust). Create and review P&IDs, utility schematics, layout drawings, mechanical layouts, and system schematics Ensure designs are in alignment with ISO cleanroom classifications and applicable regulatory codes. Lead and/or participate in design reviews with firms and internal stakeholders verify feasibility and compliance of designs.Project Engineering & Execution Support
Provide field engineering support during construction, including inspections, issue resolution, and validation of mechanical system installations. Participate in site walks, field verification, and construction inspections. Support issue resolution related to mechanical infrastructure system buildouts. Support project managers by coordinating design deliverables, contractor readiness, and construction activities related to mechanical systems. Develop and manage RFPs for mechanical infrastructure work and ensure effective flow-down of requirements to subcontractors. Monitor key milestones related to utility readiness and escalate risks to timelines as needed. Help ensure design changes and field conditions are promptly communicated and resolved. Assist in start-up, testing, and turnover of utility systems supporting cleanroom environments. Proactively identify opportunities for process, system, or documentation improvements in the tool utility or mechanical infrastructure space, and drive these to completion. Develop proposals and roadmaps for implementing long-term improvements. Contribute to the standardization of mechanical utility support and best practices across projects.Cross-Functional Collaboration
