Responsibilities
As a Sr. Material Handler, you will play a crucial role in our transportation and shipping operations. Your main responsibilities will include:
Managing the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials in a strictly controlled environmentOperating material handling equipment safely and efficientlyCoordinating with various departments to determine material needs and successfully implement material transfer requestsMaintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area to meet safety standardsPreparing shipping documents and labels for shipmentsConducting quality inspections of incoming and outgoing materialsTroubleshooting and resolving material handling issues promptly and effectivelyRequirements
To be considered for the Sr. Material Handler position, you must meet the following requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent experience; additional education or certification in logistics, supply chain management, or related field is a bonusProven experience in a material handling or logistics role, preferably in a fast-paced environmentOutstanding organizational and time management skillsAbility to operate forklifts and other material handling equipment; certification preferredExcellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse teamStrong attention to detail and dedication to maintaining high standards of accuracy and safetyAbility to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 lbs, frequentlyWhat We Offer
