Direct Hire for a Manufacturing Supervisor located in Orlando FL
The Manufacturing Supervisor will oversee and give direction to company production operations, including production resource planning, assembly, and integration.
As a Manufacturing Supervisor, you will:
Perform minor mechanical modifications to assemblies using simple power tools, such as drill press, hand drill, band saw, etc. Read schematics, wire lists, blueprints, engineering drawings and sketches to assemble hardware. Assign team members work and ensure each member has correct and adequate documentation as well as clear direction to complete assignment. Plan and schedule production activities to meet operational targets and customer demands. Identify and resolve production issues, working with cross-functional teams to implement solutions that enhance productivity and quality. Develop and maintain production documentation, including work instructions, process documentation, and standard operating procedures. Monitor production processes, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to improve efficiency and productivity. Conduct regular team meetings to communicate production goals, expectations, and updates. Acts as liaison with the planner regarding prioritization of production schedules and product delivery commitments. Train and develop team members, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance. Collaborate with engineering, quality control, and other departments to address production issues and develop solutions. Analyze production data and prepare reports for management on key performance indicators (KPIs). Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize production processes and reduce costs. Oversee the maintenance and calibration of all equipment and tools, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum efficiency. Responsible for ensuring work is accomplished in a safe manner in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity.
You will need the following to succeed
Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Manufacturing, Electronics, or a related field. Equivalent professional experience may be substituted in lieu of education. Microsoft Office 365 experience is required SolidWorks and AutoCAD experience is a Plus Ability to assemble complex electrical wiring harnesses, cables, and electro-mechanical assemblies with high proficiency. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced production environment. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a diverse team. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
Salary: $70K-90K annually
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
