Sr Manager – Supply Chain is responsible for overseeing inventory management, material planning, and supplier coordination to ensure timely and cost-effective availability of materials. The role ensures smooth supply chain operations through effective MRP execution, process improvements, and compliance with quality and delivery standards.

Qualification/ Yrs. Of experience : Engineering Graduate/15 to 20 Yrs, preferably with mass production environment. (Some experience and knowledge about imports is essential.)

Detailed Job Description:

Manage end-to-end inventory operations to ensure optimum stock levels and production continuity. Execute Material Requirement Planning (MRP) . Plan and monitor materials in alignment with production schedules. Implement inventory control measures to improve stock accuracy and reduce variances. Negotiate and manage supplier agreements and contracts Coordinate with suppliers to monitor production capacity and address supply fluctuations. Support product development by ensuring material readiness and supplier engagement. Drive process improvements and cost optimization initiatives in supply chain operations. Prepare and present MIS reports on inventory, supplier performance, and material planning. Ensure compliance with company policies, statutory requirements, and audit standards. Lead, guide, and develop the supply chain team to achieve departmental goals. Lead demand forecasting, production planning, and SOP processes for supplier. Optimize inventory levels to balance availability and carrying costs. Reduce obsolescence, stock-outs, and excess inventory. Prepare a procurement plan for bought out items with quality approved.
