In this role, the candidate will partner with Collins business units to develop and execute a portfolio of improvement projects across multiple technologies, including SAP SC, SRM, Ariba, and IQN. Additionally, the candidate will collaborate with both internal teams and outsourced partners to support critical IT systems essential to daily business operations.

** This is a hybrid role that can be based at any Collins location. Candidates must reside within the driving distance of a Collins facility. **

What YOU will do:

Provide solution support, working collaboratively with business partners and DT to complete projects to achieve their strategic goals. 

Support day-to-day maintenance of production systems, including identifying and troubleshooting application issues. 

Drive end-to-end innovation by aiding in strategic analysis, design, development, and implementation of future systems and integrations. 

Provide guidance to users regarding processes and procedures and ensure the business is getting efficiencies out of current applications. 

Develop expertise in current and future technology through training and experience and provide recommendations on industry best practices where applicable. 

Lead initiatives to align with One RTX and One Collins strategic visions, fostering a unified and collaborative corporate culture. 

Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance organizational efficiency and drive business growth in line with corporate objectives. 

Manage the implementation and optimization of CRE Ariba solutions, ensuring seamless procurement processes and cost-effective sourcing. 

Lead initiatives to strengthen supplier partnerships and improve supplier performance in relation to supplier enablement and Master Data Governance (MDG). 

Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth. 

Manage a small team of IT professionals in the execution of projects and in support of the Collins SCM IT suite of tools used in our indirect business. 

Liaison with the Central SC Organization and BU leads on prioritization of Supply Chain initiatives. 

Interpret requests and find the best approach at servicing the request using the SAP tool kit and add-on applications. 

Qualifications You Must Have:

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position (U.S. Citizen or Green Card Holder). 

Subject matter expert in Indirect Procure to Pay Supply Chain with end-user focus and a technical background. 

Subject matter expert in Contracts and Sourcing. 

Experience working with and leading project efforts within SAP ERP, including ECC & SRM & Ariba Areas. 

Experience working with SAP Ariba, including upstream and downstream solutions. 

Experience in managing Ariba implementations, deployments, and maintenance. 

Knowledge of Vendor Master Master Data Governance tools. 

Support end-user training and training material development. 

Transactional systems will include SAP ECC, SAP Ariba, SAP SRM, SAP SNC, and custom supplier portals. 

Experience working in a service delivery role in a business-critical environment. 

Strong understanding of gated or passport-managed projects. 

Must be willing and able to travel 20-25% of the time. 

Qualifications We Prefer:

Cross-functional experience working with FICO, PI, and SD modules. 

Cross-functional experience working with SAP Ariba, SNC, ECC SRM, and supplier portals. 

Qualified in implementing SAP S/4 Hana, including conducting blueprinting workshops and execution.

The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
