Sr. Manager - PMT Free Streaming, Fire TV Content & Advertising

The Entertainment Devices (Fire TV, Alexa and Tablet) Advertising team combines advertising and mobile / tablet technologies, smart TVs and Alexa to help our customers discover and engage with content and help Amazon lower prices. We operate at Amazon scale, designing and deploying software that is enjoyed by millions of active users globally. We solve significant customer problems in the consumer electronics space through devices, mobile applications, computer vision, and machine learning. We are looking for an innovative Sr. Manager - Tech to lead global expansion of free streaming content discovery, diversification and monetization. You will lead your team in developing the strategy and vision for the products, and you will develop and look after product roadmaps and features based on team strategy and vision. This team is working backwards from delivering a CX customers love across devices, scaling Free Streaming customers, hours and total monetizable free streaming ad impressions globally to deliver a step function increase in streaming video revenue. This role is inherently cross-functional -- you will work closely with engineering, design, business development, marketing and executive teams to bring features to market and develop and grow business opportunities for Amazon. A successful candidate will be highly analytical, able to work extremely effectively in a matrix organization, and adept at synthesizing a variety of technologies and capabilities into high quality, simple products and applications that customers love. Key job responsibilities - Define creative, high quality, simple product roadmaps based on team strategy and vision - Develop detailed, crisp business requirements and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and architecture for each product and application - Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners - Manage prioritization and trade-offs among customer experience, advertiser experience, performance and operational support load - Work closely with engineering teams and design team to deliver products to market - Drive product launches including working with public relations team, executives, and other product management team members - Proactively identify and resolve strategic issues that may impair the team’s ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals. Seek to understand status, blockers and use or invent mechanisms to provide transparency across stakeholders. You're regularly connecting with other teams to break down silos, and seeking opportunities to implement tools and mechanisms that keep teams connected, engaged and delivering results through documentation and support. You seek to understand customer impact, business value and celebrate delivering innovative experiences to customers & advertisers. About the team We build Ad products and experiences for the growing Connected TV and Streaming TV market segment where driving a generational realignment away from legacy consumption and distribution models, enabling us to create new, valuable opportunities for Amazon with Fire TV. The base pay for this position ranges from $178,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $307,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
