What You Can Expect

The Senior Manager of Medical Education is responsible for the development and delivery of Paragon 28’s HCP training curriculum to a diverse audience and will collaborate effectively with various groups across the organization to develop, implement, and oversee the administration of all HCP medical education programs.  This position is hybrid and will be onsite at our location in Englewood Colorado.

How You'll Create Impact Essential Responsibilities and DutiesResponsibility for the development and delivery of P28 HCP training curriculum.Identify, and maintain a network of Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) in foot and ankle and trauma, which corresponds and satisfies the business needs to ensure current needs and trends are capturedManage all Medical Education employees, including those working in the Englewood wet-lab and mobile labs. Develop and maintain all training materials, including electronic training toolsReview and continuously improve upon existing instructional materials, course agendas, lecture topics, lesson plans, handouts or demonstrationsPartner with subject matter experts to document complex medical education materials, handouts, lesson plans and multimedia presentation materialsLead the development and maintenance of educational curriculum, including multi-media educational learning objectsAdapt pre-designed course materials to meet instructional objectivesEnsure all prepared materials are based on clearly defined regulatory, compliance and internal policies and guidelinesDeliver onsite and remote training to sales agents and technical specialistsStay abreast of medical and scientific developments within the assigned therapeutic area by reviewing current literature, monitoring competitor activities, attending scientific conferences and networking with expertsAssists with KOL engagement and medical education activities at conventions with marketing supportCollaborate with internal partner teams (i.e., Product Management, Marketing, Sales) to plan and implement surgeon educational programs on the international, national, and regional levelWork directly with Director of Events, Tradeshows and Marketing Materials to organize onsite and offsite workshops and educational courses for surgeons, business partners and other work groups as assignedWork directly with the Creative department to develop branding for programs to include agenda, save the dates, dashboards, etc.Adheres to state, federal, Advamed code of conduct and industry organization policies with respect to show physician events, dinners, receptions, promotions, physician payments, etc.Other duties as assignedYour Background QualificationsUndergraduate degree (BS/BA), or related work experience is preferred.Demonstrated ability to develop and teach educational curriculumExperience in orthopedics, preferably directly related foot and. This can include medical education, sales, or marketingAbility to supervise tradeshow and medical lab crews for desired resultsMust demonstrate strong communication and presentation skillsMust be able to manage multiple, detailed projects, prioritize urgent needs simultaneously, and work cross functionallyMust to be able to operate independently with little direction Ability to engage in high level scientific and engineering conversations with surgeon audiences (domestic and international)Excellent planning, organization and analytical skillsStrong collaboration skills and willingness to be a team playerAbility and willingness to travel frequently as requiredHigh paced growth environment-need to be comfortable managing many different related roles within the organizationProficient in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)

Work Environment:

This position generally operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, copiers and phones.

 

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate with individuals internal and external to the organization. The employee frequently is required to move about the facility, as well as various training locations, which may include hotels, event centers, customer offices, etc. The employee may be required assist with booth set ups as well as moving product, which can be up to 40lbs., by themselves.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with variable hours based on training needs and the availability of customers. 

Travel Expectations

Position requires approximately 75% overnight travel throughout the country. 

Compensation Data

Salary Range:  $115,000 - $135,000 USD Annually
