Data Analytics & ReportingWe are seeking a strategic and business-minded Sr. Data & Analytics Manager to lead a team of analysts in delivering actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of data and business – someone who gets excited about influencing strategy through insights more than just crunching numbers.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Leadership and DevelopmentLead, mentor, and develop a team of four analysts.Foster a culture of curiosity, continuous learning, and business impact.Build relationships across departments to maximize collaboration and insights-sharing.Reporting and AnalysisDeliver recurring and ad-hoc reporting that supports strategic decision-making.Conduct deep-dive analysis to understand key business drivers and recommend actionable insights to senior leadership.Translate complex data into executive-ready narratives that support decisions around sales, pricing, profitability, and strategy.Strategic Insight & CommunicationPresent analysis to senior leaders in a clear and compelling way.Make recommendations that are rooted in business understanding, not just data output.Act as a trusted advisor by connecting analytics to strategic business priorities.Process Improvement and Technical ExcellenceProactively identify inefficiencies in processes and lead the effort to streamline and automate.Leverage technical skills to improve scalability and efficiency of the team’s output.Qualifications:
Business Acumen and Communication SkillsStrong understanding of banking products and strategy.Ability to distill complex analytics into simple, impactful insights and recommendations.Confidence presenting to and influencing executive stakeholders.Leadership2+ years of experience managing a team of direct reports.Proven ability to challenge norms and drive change to improves outcomes.Skilled at navigating cross-functional teams and building organizational influence.Technical skillsComfortable working with Python (or other programming language with an ability and desire to learn Python) and SQL to mentor team members, help troubleshoot code, etc. Hands-on involvement in pulling data and performing analysis will be required at times.Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on automation and process improvement.Salary:
$102,000.00 - $190,000.00Pay Type:

Salaries will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and qualifications for the role, and may include a commission structure. Salaries for part-time roles will be pro-rated based on number of hours regularly worked. For commission roles, the salary listed above represents BMO Financial Group’s expected target for the first year in this position.
BMO Financial Group’s total compensation package will vary based on the pay type of the position and may include performance-based incentives, discretionary bonuses, as well as other perks and rewards.
