**Job Summary:**
The QA Manager is responsible for overseeing and ensuring the effectiveness of the Quality Management System (QMS) and regulatory compliance of the MRO business. This role ensures all maintenance and repair operations meet regulatory, product safety and QMS standards; including but not limited to FAA and EASA Part 145 requirements. The QA Manager leads internal audits, manages regulatory inspections, drives continuous improvement in the MRO QMS, and ensures that the organization's quality policies and procedures are followed consistently.
**Key Responsibilities:**
+ Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS to ensure compliance with aviation authority regulations (FAA Part 145, EASA 145, etc.) and applicable industry standards (e.g., AS9110).
+ Serve as the primary liaison with regulatory agencies and customers regarding compliance, audits, inspections, product safety and product quality.
+ Lead and manage internal and external audits, including root cause analysis and effective corrective actions
+ Oversight of approval process and collaboration with suppliers / sub suppliers in terms of quality compliance.
+ Ensure quality objectives, KPIs, and metrics are established, monitored, and achieved.
+ Manage non-conformance reporting (NCR), corrective/preventive actions (CAPA), and continuous improvement projects.
+ Oversee training of the organization on product and quality standards, regulatory requirements, and QMS procedures.
+ Work cross-functionally with production, engineering, and supply chain to address quality issues and implement process improvements.
+ Oversee document and record control.
**Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering, Quality Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
+ Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in quality assurance within an MRO or aerospace environment.
+ With experience as a Responsible Manager in MRO
+ Strong knowledge of FAA and EASA part 145, and other regulatory agency requirements.
+ Experience with QMS standards such as AS9110 or AS 9100
+ Certified Lead Auditor (AS/ISO standards) preferred.
+ Proven experience managing audits and regulatory inspections.
+ Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
+ Experience in matrix organization reporting
