AWS Wickr (https://aws.amazon.com/wickr) is a secure messaging and collaboration service designed for organizations requiring high levels of security and compliance. It provides end-to-end encryption for all communications, including messaging, calling, file sharing, and screen sharing, ensuring that only the intended recipients can access the content. AWS Wickr also offers robust administrative controls, data retention features, and various deployment options to meet diverse organizational needs and regulatory requirements.
Key job responsibilities
We are seeking an experienced Head of Product to lead the product strategy and execution for AWS Wickr, our secure enterprise communications solution. In this role, you will drive the vision, product requirements, set the go-to-market strategy, and tirelessly champion the needs of our customers. You will lead a team of product managers and work cross-functionally with engineering, design, security, and support teams. You will partner with go-to-market teams and solutions architects to drive product adoption and revenue growth. This role will require coordination across many internal and external teams and will be visible at the highest levels of the company.

• Define high-quality roadmaps based on your strategy and vision
• Drive product decisions through data-driven insights, customer feedback, and market analysis
• Develop detailed, crisp business narratives and user stories that can be used to create product specifications and new features
• Ensure product alignment with security and compliance standards (FedRAMP, HIPAA, GDPR, etc.)
• Work closely with sales teams, solution architects, business development and engineering teams to solve complex product and pricing issues
• Manage prioritization and trade-offs between customer experience, performance and operational support load
• Can dive into technical details and ask engineers insightful questions about the services and dependencies
