Job Responsibilities

Lead the development and implementation of Giant Eagle’s Long Term Care strategy.Oversee the day-to-day business activity of the Team Members in the department.  Supervise, coordinate and oversee selection and training of new Team Members.  Ensure productivity and efficiency by setting goals that meet the needs of the business.  Support professional development of Team Members through appropriate talent management processes.  Provide continuous, effective feedback and coaching to Team Members related to overall performance.Prepare budget for Long Term Care department. Manage P&L reports monthly and establish and monitor metrics to drive profitable growth and cost leadership.Develop Long Term Care business development strategy and lead efforts to secure contracts with assisted living facilities.

Maintain successful relationships with assisted living facilities through proactive and professional communication.  Visit facilities and attend conferences in order to maintain relationships with current partners, identify leads, and interact with potential partners.

Coordinate and collaborate with other business areas, including but not limited to Managed Care, Procurement, Marketing/Advertising, Technology, Compliance and Specialty Pharmacy Services.
