**Job Summary:**
Raytheon has an opening for a **Sr Manager, Financial Reporting** to join the oneRTX Process and Systems Transformation (PST) project, leading Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) within the Record to Report workstream. PST is an RTX-wide business transformation initiative which includes a migration to SAP S/4 HANA. The project has four business process workstreams: Opportunity-to-Cash, Plan-to-Sustain, Source-to-Pay and Record-to-Report **.** Willingness to travel is required – typically 2-3 weeks per quarter.
The transformation is focused on leveraging the scale of our three business units to improve collaboration, cost structure, productivity and performance. This will include several major, multi-year initiatives that align to our goals as a company and optimize how we work, operate and deliver to our customers to achieve our full potential. With processes optimized and harmonized, will reduce cost, effort and improve performance as we break down silos and establish consistent ways of working. The result will be a common user experience across the businesses, real-time visibility into critical data, and automation of manual tasks to enable all employees to focus on value-add activities.
Within Record to Report (R2R), we capture and organize financial data, enable planning and risk mitigation, ensure the financial health of the enterprise, and provide metrics and financial analysis to decision-makers in the Company. R2R includes a large portion of the finance organization including Accounting & Controllership, Financial Planning, Tax, and Treasury functions. Within the R2R value stream, our project is organized into three towers: Accounting, Costing, and Functional.
Responsibilities for this role include supporting the RTX global design blueprinting across financial processes and bolstering our controls for our future state Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system. Once global design blueprinting is completed, the role will lead Raytheon controls testing, create and document System Interface Diagrams of SOX processes, and maintain the Raytheon Controls Risk & Controls Matrix (RCM). The role will support the broader Raytheon PST team to ensure that internal controls are appropriately considered in ERP design decisions and to serve as the central point of contact for gathering feedback and ensuring the Raytheon requirements are addressed. The role will also aid the Raytheon Internal Controls team as an expert on systems, key reports, and related procedures. Travel will be required based on frequency of workshops and team needs.
**What You Will Do** :
+ Serve as the controls lead for the Raytheon segment on the SAP S4 HANA implementation project from initial benchmarking through integration testing
+ Act as liaison between the PST team, the Raytheon Internal Controls team, functional stakeholders, and RTX project leadership
+ Partner with the functional and workstream leads to integrate controls into future state processes ensuring that controls are maintained or strengthened
+ Gather requirements, evaluate, and recommend “Future State” business processes, controls, and associated risks for consideration in ERP implementation
+ Update Interface/Dataflow Diagrams as needed for understanding changes in system architecture and to support SOX compliance
+ Test and review system integration including documentation of results to ensure system components work as expected
+ Actively participate in meetings, workshops (virtual and on-site), and team discussions to ensure the Raytheon controls implications are understood and incorporated into the decisions made
+ Perform or support evaluation of Raytheon systems, key reports, and segregation of duties conflicts for critical roles as part of the Raytheon Internal Controls program
+ As needed, assist in the preparation of quarterly financial reporting deliverables and participate in special projects
**Qualifications You Must Have** **:**
+ Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Math, Business or a related field and 10 years’ in finance or accounting; or an advance degree and 7 years’ in finance or related business role experience.
+ Experience with SAP (ECC and/or S/4 HANA), implementations or on other enterprise system implementation projects
**Qualifications We Prefer** **:**
+ An in-depth understanding and experience with ERP (ideally SAP or Oracle) functionality
+ Experience in performing, testing, or evaluating SOX controls
+ Understanding of standard business processes including cost flows, revenue accounting, inventory management, and GL/close activities
+ Advanced experience with tools such as Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
+ Understanding of financial accounting and reporting concepts
+ Innovative and strategic thinker - can see beyond how things are done today
+ Strong project management, interpersonal, teamwork, written and verbal communication skills.

Employees who are working in remote roles will work primarily offsite (from home) but may be expected to travel to the site location as needed. The salary range for this role is 124,000 USD - 250,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
