**Job Description:**
Johnson & Johnson MedTech is recruiting for a Sr. Manager, Head of Bronchoscopy (Bronch) Platform Delivery, MONARCH, a robotic-assisted platform for bronchoscopy. This position is located in Santa Clara, CA.

This role serves as key partner to the cross-functional MONARCH Leadership Team to ensure alignment, accountability and focus needed for effective execution of critical platform development projects. This role will report to the Head of Platform Delivery. This individual will manage a team of program and project managers, responsible for planning and driving projects across the MONARCH organization in-line with the committed scope, timeline and budget. This role requires strong collaboration skills and partnership with R&D, Global Strategic Marketing, Product Marketing, Regulatory Affairs, Supply Chain, Quality and Finance.
**Major Duties & Responsibilities**
+ Owns overall execution of all MONARCH Bronch and Digital platform development efforts. Responsible for project planning, management, tracking, acceleration, risk identification and mitigation. Owns development and execution of management reviews, including scenario development, trade-off implications and the evaluation/assessment of improvement opportunities.
+ Build a strong team to enable relentless execution and improved efficiency across our defined Bronchoscopy Product Roadmap
+ Shapes and drives critical initiatives to improve MONARCH's operational excellence.
+ Develops knowledge of technical platforms in other parts of Johnson & Johnson and establishes relationships with key groups that have strategic alignment and finds opportunities to partner or leverage resources.
+ Defines / refines MONARCH program operational metrics. Responsible for consolidation and dissemination of operational reports for senior management and cross-functional partners.
+ This position owns building and maintaining project/program schedules and coordinating Agile Sprints.
+ Ensures alignment across key platform initiatives, goals, strategies through shared G&O’s and reporting of progress against those across the organization.
+ Monitors and supervises action items and plans to ensure rapid follow-through and progress against commitments.
+ The role is accountable for securing trade-off decisions to help the team manage the triple constraint (time, scope, resources) and for appropriate management of challenges cross-functionally.
+ Collaborates with other Platform Delivery Heads to champion team efficiency, driving a culture of empowerment, urgency, accountability, achievement, and decision making. The role ensures an environment of collaboration in enabling open/safe challenges and risk discussions.
+ Provide career development, performance management, and mentoring employees to assist in talent development.
+ Foster teamwork, diversity, and inclusion within team, between teams and other groups.
+ The role builds and champions a hard-working team culture and continuous team integration. The role encourages and provides team member motivation and recognition.
**Qualifications**
+ A minimum of 8+ years of relevant industry experience is required.
+ Bachelor’s/undergraduate degree in an engineering field is required.
+ An advanced Degree or equivalent experience is an asset.
+ Medical device experience with Class II, III in capital equipment development is very beneficial.
+ Prior experience leading PMO teams (inclusive of direct/indirect reports) is desired
+ 5+ years of people management experience (inclusive of direct/indirect reports) is required
+ Strong technical expertise and business insight within the areas of Strategy, R&D, Supply Chain and Program Management is highly preferred.
+ Proven success in shaping and influencing across a matrix environment to drive strategic execution and operational excellence is required.
+ Proven success in managing ambiguity and effective management of key issues and risks is required.
+ Ability to actively develop talent and culture to achieve results.
The anticipated base pay range for this position is 168,000 - 271,400 California Bay Area
