The Senior Manager, Global Expense & Card Payments leads the strategy, implementation, and ongoing management of Brink’s global expense reimbursement and corporate card programs across 55 countries. This includes oversight of expense management tools (e.g., Concur and others), as well as Corporate Card, P-Card, and Virtual Payment programs.
The role requires deep domain knowledge and hands-on experience in expense and payment programs across the U.S., Canada, Brazil, France, and Mexico, ensuring operational excellence, compliance, and global alignment with regional business needs.
Subject matter experience
Global subject matter expert for expense management tools and services (e.g., Concur and others), as well as corporate card payment programsOwn the strategy, implementation, and ongoing management of global expense and corporate card programsOperations and delivery
Lead global program governance and compliance across 55 countries.Develop and implement global card and expense policies in collaboration with Sourcing, Finance, Compliance, Global Shared Services (GSS), and HRPartner with GSS to support program operations and scale administrative functionsDrive onboarding and optimization of virtual payment programsOversee expense report processing, card issuance and suspension, audits, reimbursements, and exception handlingEnsure SLAs, turnaround times, and accuracy targets are met across geographiesProcess optimization and Automation
Drive global standardization and digitization (e.g., using Concur, Coupa, Oracle, or Workday)Identify and implement process improvements, automation opportunities, and user training programsServe as an escalation point for system issues and coordinate enhancements with IT and vendorsAdd and evaluate AI-based tools for expenses and payment management to increase automation, reduce costs, and improve employee productivityProvide ongoing support, training, and policy communication to stakeholders and cardholders globallyCollaborate with internal teams to support M&A integration, system enhancements, and operational scalingReporting and Controls
Lead monthly reconciliation, audit, and reporting of spend, compliance, policy adherence, and card usage metricsIdentify control gaps, track KPIs, and recommend improvements to tools, policies, or user experiencePrepare and deliver communications and reporting to senior leadership and global stakeholdersManage Internal and External Audits related to T&E processesQualifications:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required5–8+ years of experience leading Concur Expense tool or similar tool and global corporate card programsDemonstrated experience managing expense and card programs in U.S., Canada, Brazil, France, and MexicoExperience implementing expense systems internationally across multi-country environmentsProficiency with reporting tools, data analytics, and business intelligence systemsStrong understanding of travel booking, spend management, and compliance best practicesAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint skillsProfessional Skills:Self-starter with strong organizational and time management skillsEffective communicator with the ability to engage across cultures and levels of the organizationStrong analytical thinker and problem solverProven ability to manage stakeholders and deliver results in a fast-paced, global environmentExperience working in a matrixed environment with cross-functional collaborationExcellent verbal and written communication skills, including presentations and reportingHigh level of diplomacy and discretion in handling sensitive informationExcellent attention to detail and follow-through on assignmentsWhat’s Next?Thank you for considering applying for a job at Brink’s.
