Sr. Manager, Global Access Strategy & Pricing– Vyndaqel

ROLE SUMMARY

The Global Access Strategy & Pricing (GASP) Manager on Vyndaqel will have major accountability to be the country facing colleague collecting insights as well as developing/disseminating key prioritized strategies/tactics to global markets.    Vyndaqel is facing many upcoming challenges including 18+ contract renegotiation, 2 competitor launches, and loss of exclusivity of the ATTR-hereditary indication in 61mg and Polyneuropathy (PN) indication in 20mg.  In Nov ’26, Vyndaqel Supplemental Protection Certificate (SPC) will expire in some market and generic 61mg products will be launching.   The Vyndaqel GASP manager will work cross-functionally with the team to manage Lifecycle Management (LCM) projects such as LCM strategy/playbook,  LCM masterclass, and negotiation trainings for key markets.  The role will also assist in helping to evolve the Brand Pricing Policy (BPP) as the brand navigates complex challenges over the coming years.   In addition, the role will help to facilitate the GAV Op ’26 process as well as interface with key markets during Op ’26.  The Global Access Strategy & Pricing manager will also help to lead competitive readiness work including developing a Payer Value Proposition, Payer Leave behind/Infographics, as well as helping to develop an overall value narrative vs competition.  Lastly, the manager will also help manage operational brand activities including managing weekly AMT calls, monthly COP meetings, send out weekly VYyndAlert competitive P&MA updates, budget management, management of pricing dashboards such as Access Infinity, and will manage the VYNDACCESS communication platform.

To achieve this, the GASP manager will partner closely with the cross-functional asset teams and run the Access Matrix Team to help evolve the IVAS (Integrate Value & Access Strategy).  The GASP manager will partner with local country access colleagues, and help to review local business cases as appropriate.  Close collaboration and partnership with HTA Value and Evidence colleagues will be essential in order to evolve Vyndaqel’s value narrative, evidence platform, and VBA strategy as it will be a key growth lever in the ’25-27 timframe.  Being proactive, challenging the status quo, and thinking out of the box will be critical for the role.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Understand and communicate Global Payer/HTA insights around renegotiation, competitors and Nov ’26 SPC expiry  Evolve the Integrated Value & Access Strategy in response to Competition/LCM challengesLead development of the Payer Value Proposition and 2 Payer Leavebehind for Key markets in IDM/EM + U.S.Ensure competitive readiness across key global marketsAssist team lead in evolving the current Vyndaqel Brand Pricing Policy (BPP) that ensure value for payers, patients, physicians & PfizerAssist team lead in evolving LCM playbook and LCM country readiness training planLead country workshops for key markets to help evolve renegotiation, competitor and LCM strategyPartner with Value & Evidence to identify short term and long-term evidence generation plan to help manage pricing and access riskIdentify innovative Value Based Agreements to reduce uncertainty in terms of budget impact for payers and update the VBA playbookIdentify 3 innovative solutions to help manage future pricing and access complexitiesPartner with Pricing dynamics team on IRP impact and LCPA exercisesHold monthly COP meetings for 45 markets, review quarterly newsletter, and send out weekly VYNDAlert competitor pricing and access updates/communicationsManage Access Infinity Pricing Dashboard and Excel Pricing TrackersManage Pricing & Access Vendors and Consultants

Specifically:

Provide payer insights to understand/meet the needs of all types of payers in key Pfizer markets and evolve the Access StrategyRepresent the ‘Voice of the Payer’ at cross-functional team and governance bodiesDeliver recommendations relating to price and access strategies, payer strategy, pricing and reimbursement, evidence generation, data collection and value proposition, taking into consideration market archetype and lifecycle considerations Provide price and market access input to cross-functional team deliverables to ensure GAV considerations are incorporated into team recommendations at key governance milestonesProvide Market Access expertise & insights to support internal efforts related to MAx best practices, revenue forecast assumptions, and brand operating plansGenerate & synthesize payer insights through the creation and maintenance of expertise in payer regulation and priorities across major countries / archetypes across the globe:Assessment and communication of external access trends to anticipate potential challenges and opportunitiesGather and synthesize feedback for development programs with health technology assessment agencies, payers, and relevant patient associations

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

Education: Bachelor’s degree required.  Advanced degree in a healthcare, business or economic field preferred (MSc, Pharm.D., Ph.D, MBA)

Experience:

Minimum of 6 years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry or related consulting services, with recent experience as in-country access & value, or global pricing/ payer and market access environment

Experience in developing and executing Pricing & Market Access strategies and deliverables for ex-US marketsExperience of managing cross-functional teams in a cross-cultural environmentPharmaceutical business leadership, including experience in strategy development and interaction with customersFamiliarity with strategic and operating planning processesKnowledge and understanding of health economics and associated skillsEx-U.S. market access experience preferredExperience working on LOE brands a plus although not requiredExperience working on Global IRP management a plus although not required
