(Sr.) Manager, Ethics & Compliance

This position is responsible for providing E&C support to Business Units and functions to drive the integration of high performance with high integrity.  This position also supports key compliance programs, such as annual risk assessment workshop, tracking mitigation action results, managing corrective/preventive actions and supporting investigation from E&C perspective.  This role will work closely with business leadership and control functions (Legal, HR, and Finance) to proactively manage risks and ensure compliance.  The role will report to Executive Director, Ethics and Compliance, China

Responsibilities:

Business Partnership: Through proactive partnership with leadership of Business Units and functions, guide business stakeholders to understand compliance policy and requirements, ensure business activities to integrate high performance with high integrity, review/approve relevant programs and third parties from compliance perspective, and provide compliance training, trend analysis and best practice recommendations to influence Business stakeholdersSupport Key Compliance Programs: Lead the annual affiliate risk assessment workshop and the subsequent mitigation action workshop, including coordinating with other E&C BPs to gather business inputs and identify prioritized risks, facilitating the workshops, and tracking the mitigation actions; manage the corrective/preventive actions generated from investigations and other risk detection efforts; support investigation from compliance perspectiveOther responsibilities assigned by line managers

Qualifications and requirements:

Bachelor’s degreeMinimum 5 years in E&C/IC/Finance/Legal experience, preferably in healthcare industryAdvanced degree in law, business, or a related field preferredHigh learning agility and great team playerExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work effectively with different levels and across different departments.High ethical standards and integrity.Strong strategic and conceptual skills with the ability to bridge to action and execution.Client orientation with a constructive approach to resolution of issues
