Daikin Applied is seeking a Sr. Manager of Corporate Development who will be responsible for driving strategic growth initiatives, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic partnerships, and other corporate development activities. Location: Plymouth, MN, Hybrid 

What you will do: 

Drive end-to-end corporate development processes, including target identification, due diligence, evaluation, negotiationDefine and refine M&A strategy to align with company’s growth objectivesCollaborate with senior leadership to define and refine corporate strategy and growth plansMonitor industry trends and market dynamics to understand competitive landscapeConduct market and synergy analysis to identify potential acquisition targets and strategic opportunitiesDevelop business cases, financial models, and strategic rationale for potential dealsOwn deal sourcing activities from internal and external sourcesLead cross-functional teams through due diligence, ensuring comprehensive evaluation of targetsNegotiate terms and structure of deals, working closely with legal, business and external advisorsDevelop a plan for the integration of acquired companies, ensuring alignment with Daikin Applied Americas' strategic goals and cultureBuild and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholdersPrepare and present detailed reports and recommendations to the executive teamLead development of the extended corporate development team and continuous process improvement / playbook projects

Minimum Qualifications: 

BA Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or related field3-6 years of experience in corporate development, corporate strategy, investment banking, private equity, or a related fieldStrong financial acumen, with experience in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and understanding of key financial statementsProven project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlinesStrong negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus among stakeholdersWork visa sponsorship is not available for this position 

Preferred Qualifications:

7+ years with progressive experience in corporate strategy, management consulting, or investment banking, with a specific focus on mergers and acquisitionsMBA from a top-tier schoolApplied HVAC knowledgeExtensive M&A transaction experience across all transaction types

The typical annual base salary for this position ranges from $113,800 - $188,300K + up to 25% bonus in MN. The range displayed represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade which this position falls. Individual base pay will depend on a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
