As a Senior Manager, Compensation Operations & Programs, you will play a critical role in delivering core compensation programs that support a fair, competitive, and client focused pay philosophy. Reporting to a Director of Compensation, you will lead the firm’s annual pay planning processes while partnering closely across HR and Technology to ensure operational excellence, strong governance, and an exceptional leader and employee experience.
This role offers the opportunity to lead highly visible programs, influence decisions through trusted partnerships, and continuously improve compensation operations in a complex, data driven environment.
Key Outcomes and Responsibilities:
Lead the firm-wide annual pay planning process, including merit, bonus, and equity programs, ensuringaccurateexecution and a seamless end user experienceDevelop and manage detailed project plans thatidentifymilestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables across programsOversee day-to-day system operations supporting compensation programs, including troubleshooting, issue resolution, and ongoing optimizationPartner closely with Compensation Partners, HR Business Partners, HR Operations, Payroll, Product Development, and HR Technology to deliver pay planning programs effectively and on timeCreate clear and intuitive training materials, job aids, and leader guidance tosupport payplanning participantsCollaboratewith Product Development and HR Technology to design and implement approved system enhancements and configuration changesSupport Workday compensation enhancements, including configuration recommendations, testing, and validationExecute and oversee mass data uploads and corrections related to job changes, salary updates, and compensation adjustmentsManage the bonus accrual process and deliveraccuratereporting to Accounting and Finance partnersSupport annual compensation budgeting and forecasting processes through data analysis, reporting, and operational executionWhat you haveTo ensure that we fulfill our promise of “challenging the status quo,” this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have.
Required Qualifications:
7+years of progressive experience in Human Resources, Compensation, or Incentive Compensation within a large, complex corporate environmentProven experience supporting enterprise-wide compensation cycles, including merit, bonus, and equity programsStrong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word, with the ability to analyze data and communicate insights effectivelyDemonstrated analytical and quantitative skills with a strong focus on accuracy and data integrityExcellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to build trusted partnerships across HR, Finance, Technology, and OperationsHigh attention to detail with the ability toidentifyissues, assess risk, and ensure consistency across programsAbility to manage multiple operational workstreams simultaneously, particularly during peak compensation periodsStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to think holistically andanticipatedownstream impactsClear and effective written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to explain system functionality and impacts to non-technical partnersHands-on experience with pay planning in Workday or other Human Capital Management systemsBachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Human Resources, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field, or equivalentworkexperiencePreferred Qualifications:
