Sr. Manager, Business Development & Integration
**What you will do:** As our **Sr. Manager, Business Development & Integration,** you will play a critical role in advancing enterprise-wide growth initiatives by partnering closely with both Shared Services and Business Unit business development teams. You will be responsible for managing the M&A processes at Endoscopy that are capable of being scalable, while being consistent, repeatable, and disciplined. Additionally, you will manage and develop M&A processes and procedures, support BD teams in the process of M&A from target sourcing through integration planning. You will also serve as a conduit for sharing insights and trends to keep Endoscopy informed and agile in the M&A environment across Stryker. Success in this role for you, will require a blend of deep cross-functional experience, pragmatism, teamwork, and strong collaboration skills to support M&A activities that deliver value and accretive growth to Stryker. + Responsible for coordinating diligence and integration activities in the Business Development function (M&A) for Endoscopy Division. + Manage processes and procedures for the planning and communication of M&A activities in the Endoscopy Division. + Manage target intake and tracking metrics for the division – assist BU BD leaders in preparing M&A pipeline assessments and store materials via STR process to be a single source of truth for Endoscopy M&A contacts. + Establish and refine M&A best practices and playbooks (drive process excellence). + Lead and/or assist with the diligence activities on targets, coordinating with target leadership, Stryker functional teams, and outside 3rd party support (legal, IP, etc.) through the due diligence process + Contribute to development of key transaction documents (e.g., Capital Expenditure Requests, Indication of Interest letters, Asset and Stock Purchase Agreements, and Distribution Agreements), ensuring alignment with Legal, Tax, Finance, and other key stakeholders. + Act as strategic advisor to BD and leadership. + Facilitate cross functional alignment in the development of deal materials and due diligence matters + Support BU BD teams in the development of deal materials – deal thesis, deal drivers, inputs to financial model, considerations on final state needs regarding resources and budgeting. + Support pre-close activities, including issue resolution, negotiation sessions, and the coordination of all required information to support decision-making and execution. + Stay abreast of healthcare industry trends, emerging markets, and competitive dynamics to inform strategic direction. + Maintain strong understand of regulatory, legal and compliance considerations in US and key global markets (ex. EU) + Interface with Senior Leadership, Sales, Marketing, R&D, RA/QA, Operations, Enterprise ICOE, and PMO to plan and manage resources involved in diligence and integration activities. **What you need:** **Required:** + A BS/BA degree is needed for this role. + 10+ years of applicable experience is needed to be a successful candidate. **Preferred:** ​ + Experience in M&A integration activities – either from a functional or commercial standpoint + Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills — both written and verbal — with the ability to distill complex ideas into clear, compelling presentations for executive audiences. + Experience with data/analytical tools (ex. PowerBI); able to create tools and data bases usable by stakeholders. + **CM&AP** – Certified Mergers & Acquisitions Professional + **PMP** – Project Management Professional $129,600 - $286,500 salary plus bonus eligible + benefits. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
