This hybrid position will be located at our Corporate Office in New York City. Expectations for hybrid in-office schedule is three days a week,Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.

 

The Foot Locker marketing team is the heartbeat of Foot Locker, uniquely positioned to bring cross-functional departments together to develop and execute marketing programs. As the Senior Manager, Brand Marketing, you will be responsible for shaping and driving Foot Locker’s long-term brand strategy to strengthen our market position, grow brand equity, and deepen consumer connection. This role focuses on brand storytelling, positioning, and creating innovative marketing campaigns that drive engagement and cultural relevance.

 

This role will work cross-functionally to develop and execute brand initiatives that build Foot Locker’s presence in the market, partnering closely with Creative, Product and Merchandising departments along with external agencies. This candidate should have a keen understanding of the retail and consumer landscape, as they will ensure that the Foot Locker brand remains aspirational, differentiated, and aligned with key consumer trends.

Responsibilities Lead the development of brand positioning, messaging, and marketing strategies that elevate the brand and resonate with key consumer segmentsOwn brand guidelines and ensure consistency across all marketing channelsDevelop toolkits and brand marketing guidelines to support local executionPartner with the creative teams to develop compelling brand narratives that drive storytelling across digital, social, in-store, and experiential touchpointsOversee brand campaigns that drive awareness and relevance, ensuring execution is aligned with business goals and key brand momentsManage and lead partnerships with agencies to drive innovative storytelling and consumer engagementLeverage research to inform brand strategies and identify whitespace opportunitiesAnalyze consumer insights, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform brand strategy and positioning Qualifications Bachelors degree; marketing or related field preferredMinimum of 2 years experience as a people managerPassionate about sneakers, sneaker culture and/or the retail industryMinimum of 5 years of experience in brand marketing, preferably in retail, fashion, or consumer goodsStrong Knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel, Word)Presentation software experience especially in PowerPoint; Keynote a plusKnowledge of Adobe Creative Suite helpfulKnowledgable in AirTableDeep understanding of brand strategy, consumer behavior, and cultural trendsExperience managing external agenciesStrong creative acumen and ability to translate brand vision into compelling marketing campaignsAbility to manage and execute campaigns and budgets of $10M+Experience leading integrated, multi-channel brand campaigns with measurable impactStrong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple initiatives and deadlinesExcellent communication and collaboration skills with experience working across creative, digital, and product teamsProven ability to manage agency partners and external stakeholders

Benefits

The annual base salary range is $105000 - $120000. This range represents the anticipated low and high end of the salary for this position. This role is also eligible to receive short term incentives that align with individual and company performance. Salary will be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data. Salary is one component of the Foot Locker, Inc. total compensation package, which includes the below.
