Sr. Manager, Audience Strategy & Optimization

ROLE SUMMARY

The Sr. Manager, Audience Strategy & Optimization will support the expansion of digital addressable audiences used across paid, owned and earned Consumer and HCP touchpoints for the Pfizer BioPharma US business. As a critical member of the Audience COE, you will participate in the growth and future roadmap for our audience approach and optimization.

In this role you will partner with Integrated Media Strategy, Analytics, Brand Marketing, Performance Media team, Measurement and other key CMO commercial teams to ensure the audience strategy is aligned with the marketing objectives and KPI’s. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in audience strategy and development, will work well in a matrixed organization, and demonstrate a high level of agility to adapt to changing business needs.  

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES

Support execution of a comprehensive audience strategy across consumer and HCP brands, providing strategic recommendations, partnership, and education to internal stakeholders in implementing key audience functions and tactics.Assist in establishing, developing and promoting best practices for audience strategy, planning and execution, drive forward consistent standards and processes with creation, execution, measurement and optimization.Drive expansion of digital audience usage and increase the targeted content that reaches digital audiences across Pfizer, with the goal of improving Marketing ROIPartner with measurement team to understand performance and optimize to drive brand goals.Work in partnership with key data providers and partners to develop segments that deliver on brand business needs.Advisor to the ongoing work with Publicis’ audience data to use their proprietary audience database to optimize and improve audience strategyMaximize our demand-side platforms (DSPs) capabilities to expand 1:1 audience targeting using individual user-level integrations to inform campaign reach and drive improved performance.Activate audience strategies with internal brand and product teams to drive usage in Pfizer-owned or managed consumer and HCP experiencesLead or coordinate initiatives to target HCPs individually to deliver targeted information or branding, via paid, owned and earned mediaRepresent the voice of the customer/business with respect to product and feature developmentStay informed on emerging audience trends and technologies, including alternative targeting solutions, clean room opportunities, and assist in evaluating and recommending test-and-learn opportunities.Contribute to and deliver monthly COE updates to key stakeholders and quarterly leadership updates on performance and progress.Partner across the CMO to build communications plan for how to share out results with the broader marketing organization.Demonstrate collaborative leadership by fostering effective communication, supporting peers, and contributing to problem-solving efforts that simplify complex challenges.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

BA/BS required6+ years of agency or client-side audience experience (Healthcare expertise preferred but not required)Proven experience as a leader with a track record of driving growthExperience working with data & audience partnersAbility to work effectively and collaboratively in a team-based environmentStrong communications skills, and ability to translate concepts for a wide variety of audiencesA deep understanding of audience strategy development, segmentation, targeting, and measurement across media channels.Understanding of media measurement norms, evolving landscape, and industry standardsA strong analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data to inform strategic decisions and optimize campaign performanceIdentify and solve problems effectively, finding creative solutions to challengesExperience in presenting complex information clearly and concisely to leadership, effectively communicating insights and recommendations

The annual base salary for this position ranges from $120,800.00 to $201,400.00. In addition, this position is eligible for participation in Pfizer’s Global Performance Plan with a bonus target of 17.5% of the base salary and eligibility to participate in our share based long term incentive program.
