What you'll do...
Own strategy, development, and implementation of long-term cost management and cost reduction program in partnership with Engineering, Purchasing, Supply chain, Logistics, Manufacturing and other cross-functional partners.Deliver roadmap to product profitability on third generation electric vehicles, supporting best-in-class vehicle attributes and capability while maximizing long-term company returns.Lead business case analysis on complex vehicle product attribute and user experience changes, enabling executives and business unit leaders to make informed decisions impacting the end customer of Ford vehicles.Coordinate cross-functional efforts to break down both customer revenue and cost of goods sold down to the unit figures across the full breadth of the vehicle program income statement.Collaborate with go-to-market teams to assess financial implications of future customer purchase experience strategies.Drive transparent financial reporting, cost status reporting and ongoing optimization of finance & engineering processes.Deliver critical updates to executive stakeholders up to and including Board of Directors level materials.Take on complex challenges while clearly articulating the problem statement and recommendations to executive-level stakeholders.Identify and take initiative in delivering continuous improvement across all facets of the job.Deploy best-in-class data visualization tools and continuous availability of information vs. static reporting.Define, initiate and lead key technical and business initiatives to ensure project success.Bring a first principles mindset and approach to solve ambiguous challenges.Bring an ownership mentality – no problem is above your involvement.
