Sr. Logistics Specialist The Senior Logistics Specialist plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the end-to-end supply chain operations. This position is responsible for coordinating transportation, warehousing, inventory control, and distribution activities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, experience with logistics software, and a proven track record of improving operational efficiency. **Key Responsibilities:** + Coordinate domestic and international shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations and company policies. + Optimize transportation routes and carrier selection to reduce costs and improve delivery performance. + Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with procurement and warehouse teams to ensure product availability. + Analyze logistics data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement. + Manage relationships with third-party logistics providers (3PLs), freight forwarders, and carriers. + Ensure accurate documentation for shipments, including bills of lading, invoices, and customs paperwork. + Lead or support logistics-related projects, including system implementations and process improvements. + Maintain compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards. + Provide mentorship and guidance to junior logistics staff. **Qualifications:** + Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field. + 5+ years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain operations. + Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and Incoterms. + Proficiency in logistics software (e.g., SAP, Oracle, TMS, WMS). + Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. + Strong communication and negotiation abilities. + Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
