In this role, you will be part of ADP's Strategic Operations Program Management Office (PMO). On a daily basis, you'll support key programs for ADP's future growth and success by planning, organizing, aligning, and supporting our teams as they deliver key milestones, deliverables, and resources. You will use specific templates and techniques to manage through the preferred program life cycle to ensure business goals and objectives are accomplished within designated timeframes and requirements.
The nature of what you do every day will not change -- your #1 goal is to lead the program team to successfully roll out ADP's strategic initiatives. Still, every day will be different because the questions you receive will vary, as will the solutions you provide for each scenario. There will be no shortage of new questions you'll receive, which will keep things interesting, and our top-ranked team will help to set you up for success!

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
What you can expect on a typical day:
Be a True Partner. Do you want to be the ultimate relationship builder? You’ll manage large cross-functional project teams and communicate with key stakeholders. You’ll develop strong partnerships and working relationships at all levels of the organization, internally and externally.
Collaborate and Connect. Are you looking to learn and grow as a part of a team? You’ll work within agile environments, adhering to scrums or other iterative development cycles, to lead and influence initiatives and projects. You’ll provide strategic insights that enable efficient execution of project deliverables and milestones, including managing the full life cycle of projects.
Think Like a Client, Act Like an Owner. Not afraid to be the owner of your project? You’ll provide analysis and status reports of projects and programs, including business cases, ROI, and performance metrics that measure the success of technical projects. You’ll identify risks and opportunities, raise and manage escalations, and ensure visibility into project and program health across all stakeholders.
Create and Innovate. Do you want to champion best practices and process improvement? You'll use critical thinking and problem-solving skills to approach new situations. You’ll continuously assess how teams work — identifying opportunities to improve processes, optimize workflows, and enhance how work is organized, assigned, tracked, and reported. You’ll drive process improvements that strengthen collaboration and efficiency, and delivery quality.
Experience. You have 8+ years of experience in relevant project management skills gained and developed in the same or similar role.
TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE:
Enterprise-level project management experience successfully leading multiple, highly complex, medium to large cross-functional, multi-year projects concurrently, from concept to delivery, in a matrixed environment Strong knowledge of project management processes, tools, and structured methodologies Experience driving timeliness and budgets, and proactively leading communication with cross-functional stakeholders and team members throughout the project including setting up and facilitating meetings to keep things moving forward Proven ability to assess, manage, resolve, and escalate (when necessary) risks and issues. Excellent at managing multiple, changing, competing priorities Adept at guiding and inspiring others in a consultative approach and driving collaboration and client focus with the project team and internal partners Ability to manage across formal organizational lines Strong PowerPoint creation and presentation skills. Excellent interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to work with and communicate confidently with stakeholders at all levels, both verbally and in writing Excellent negotiation and facilitation skills, including effectively communicating with multiple functions/organizations to identify and negotiate required resources Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel. You’ll have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent.For additional comfort in the role:
