Description We are looking for an experienced Senior Internal Auditor to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will evaluate processes and controls across domestic and international operations, ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards, corporate governance, and regulatory requirements. You will also play a key role in identifying opportunities for operational improvement and driving quality initiatives within the department. Responsibilities: • Conduct thorough research and risk assessments to design comprehensive audit programs. • Perform audit fieldwork with professionalism and independence, including interviews, process reviews, data analysis, and transaction testing. • Develop organized workpapers that provide clear evidence to support audit findings and recommendations. • Summarize audit results, draft detailed reports, and assist in obtaining management responses for improvement. • Identify and implement departmental process enhancements to increase efficiency and effectiveness. • Lead training sessions on fraud prevention, cybersecurity, and code of conduct. • Collaborate with the director to prepare fraud, anti-corruption, and compliance assessments. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field. • At least 3 years of auditing and accounting experience, including public accounting with publicly-traded companies. • Expertise in developing audit plans and assessing audit findings. • Experience with corporate internal audits and Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) compliance. • Background in working with Big 4 accounting firms is highly desirable. • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in evaluating financial processes. • Ability to work independently while maintaining objectivity and professionalism.
