How will you make an impact?
Our interns are matched to projects based on their abilities and current business needs. All projects will have significant strategic and/or operating importance to the business to which they are assigned.
Summer projects may include the following responsibilities:
Design, develop, and implement automation solutions to improve efficiency, quality, and safety in the production of ICSP consumables.Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and quality assurance, to identify automation opportunities and requirements.Develop and maintain detailed documentation for automation systems, including design specifications, user manuals, and maintenance procedures.Troubleshoot and resolve issues with automated systems to minimize downtime and ensure continuous production.Conduct regular performance evaluations of automated systems and implement improvements as needed.Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to automation and manufacturing processes.Provide training and support to production staff on the use and maintenance of automated systems.Stay updated with the latest advancements in automation technology and integrate relevant innovations into our processes.Start Date: Interns have the option to join either our May or June cohort for a duration of 10-12 weeks.
Compensation & Relocation: This position offers an hourly rate of $38.50 (aligned to respective cost-of-living guidelines). Additionally, a relocation stipend is offered in the amount of $5,000 if necessary. Students must be located 50+ miles away from the physical location of the internship to be eligible for the relocation stipend.
How will you get here?
Graduate student completing a Master’s degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field of study graduating between December 2026 to June 2027.Previous related internships totaling 1+ years experience required. 0 years of work experience required.Consistent track record of results demonstrating integrity, innovation, involvement, and intensity.Energized through championing change, driven in getting results, and savvy in navigating ambiguity.Excellent interpersonal communication skills with a high degree of emotional intelligence.If this sounds like you, we'd love to hear from you!
To qualify, applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States and should not require sponsorship (current or future) for employment visa status. Compensation and Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $22.50–$38.50.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
