The Worldwide Specialist Organization (WWSO) is part of AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS), which is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. We work backwards from our customer's most complex and business critical problems to build and execute go-to-market plans that turn AWS ideas into multi-billion-dollar businesses. WWSO teams include business development, specialist and technical solutions architecture. As part of WWSO, you'll provide expertise across the entire life cycle of an AWS customer initiative, from developing ideas for new services to accelerating the adoption of established businesses. In this role, you will help customers in Japan leverage Amazon Bedrock, Amazon SageMaker, and other AWS AI/ML services to transform their businesses. You will work with enterprise customers across industries to identify use cases, develop scalable adoption patterns, and drive the growth of AWS's GenAI/ML business in Japan.
Key job responsibilities
- Own the GTM strategy and execution for the GenAI/ML Domain in Japan, collaborating with Sales, Partners, Marketing, and other Specialists
- Leverage your expertise in Generative AI and Machine Learning to understand customer problems and enable field teams to solve them
- Drive adoption of AWS GenAI/ML services by identifying use cases and converting them into scalable repeatable motions
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to expand markets, develop programs, and identify new opportunities
- Develop and execute goals to drive long term growth while meeting revenue and non-revenue KPIs
- Bring customer data and market signals back to Worldwide teams to inform product priorities
- Deliver monthly/quarterly business reviews and operational planning documents
- Drive scale through external partners and cross-functional collaboration across Sales, Solution Architecture, Marketing, Partners, and Training
