Direct-to-Device (D2D) is Leo's initiative to enable standard smartphones and IoT devices to connect directly to satellites, filling coverage gaps in remote areas.

As an FPGA engineer for D2D, you will collaborate with systems architects, hardware engineering design teams & FW/SW teams to bring up and test complex systems combining FPGAs, custom ASICs, and RF. Additionally, you will:

- Lead the design and implementation of complex real-time embedded systems
- Lead the design and implementation of programable logic for next generation antenna systems
- Design software for high-volume phased array manufacturing
- Develop calibration software for on-orbit applications
- Characterize subsystems and systems related to antennas
- Design automation for 2D and 3D structures
- Develop bring up tools and testing for phased array systems
