Sr. Financial Analyst - Merch (Hybrid- Seattle, WA)
Job Description

We are currently looking for a highly motivated individual with financial planning and analysis experience to join our finance organization supporting the Nordstrom Merchandising Group. This person will partner closely with the business to help develop monthly forecasts and annual budgets, conduct operational analysis to communicate key drivers of business performance, as well as perform ad hoc requests supporting key initiatives and investments. 

**This is a Hybrid- downtown Seattle, WA position and you will be required to come into office 4 days per week. We are not offering relocation at this time for this role. 

A day in the life… 

Lead processes for supporting activities and analysis related to the monthly reporting of close results and the monthly forecast Develop annual budgets and monthly forecasts Partner with multiple cross-functional teams in understanding operational strategies that inform planning and analyzing the business Create reporting tools and financial models that provide insight into past performance and future trends Act as a key finance contact to the business and communicate effectively with non-financial leaders Analyze data to drive action and improve outcomes Perform ad hoc analyses and special projects as assigned Drive process improvements and reporting simplification 

You own this if you have… 

5+ years of related experience BA/BS Degree in Accounting or Finance Proven experience in analysis, modeling, and reporting financial performance, with a strong sense of curiosityDemonstrated ability to manage priorities and timelines Excellent computer skills including Excel and PowerPoint; experience with Hyperion-Essbase, Oracle EBS and Tableau a plus Ability to independently develop processes and deliverables from general direction Clear and effective written and verbal communication skills Attention to detail, data integrity and accuracy Continuous improvement mindset

Pay Range Details

The pay range(s) below has been provided in compliance with state specific laws. Pay ranges may be different for other locations. 
Pay offers are dependent on the location, as well as job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

$80,000.00 - $132,000.00 Annual

This position may be eligible for performance-based incentives/bonuses. Benefits include 401k, medical/vision/dental/life/disability insurance options, PTO accruals, Holidays, and more.
