Job Title: Financial Analyst
Job Description

The Financial Analyst is responsible for delivering standard monthly reporting on the company’s financial results and forecasts. This role involves assisting the annual financial planning process across the global organization and partnering with business leaders to understand, evaluate, and drive financial performance. A successful candidate must have a strong focus on accuracy and timeliness, as well as a drive for continuous improvement.

ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with the Operations team to understand product margins across the portfolio and identify areas to optimize product mix to drive margin expansion.Partner with functional leaders on fixed cost spending, including target creation, monthly variance analysis, and forward-looking risk analysis, to help manage costs within annual plan targets.Assist with global data management projects and reporting using intelligence solutions, including Power BI and Business Objects.Conduct ad-hoc analysis to understand business performance factors such as material margin, labor productivity, indirect spend, and fixed cost leverage.Play a key role in the monthly close process to ensure global delivery of on-time reporting of monthly financial results and updated financial forecasts.Maintain dotted line responsibility for financial statements and forecasts generated by the company’s controllers, focusing on process improvements to meet deadlines and ensure accurate financial reporting.Serve as an integral partner in the annual budget process, from financial target setting to building budget schedules and presentations for leadership and corporate clarity.Assist with global consolidation and submission of financial and statistical information to Corporate through the One Stream consolidation system.Essential SkillsProficiency in financial analysis and forecastingExperience in finance and accountingFamiliarity with OneStream and reporting toolsExpertise in budgeting and financial reportingWork Environment

The work environment is a cubicle setting located in Plainville, CT. The position offers a hybrid schedule, providing flexibility and an opportunity for a long-term placement should the candidate meet expectations.

This is a Contract position based out of Plainville, CT.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $48.07 - $57.69/hr.
