This role supports the Centralized Accounting team and performs a broad range of accounting and financial analysis activities across all markets. The position focuses on accruals, journal entries, reconciliations, and general ledger support, while serving as a key point of coordination for accounting related inquiries.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare complex and ad hoc accruals, journal entries, and supporting documentation.Perform account reconciliations and support month end and year end close activities.Conduct financial, statistical, and cost analysis using data from internal systems.Support asset recovery activities and coordinate with third party vendors as needed.Maintain general ledger ownership, including intercompany.Support vendor and subledger related accounting and ensure timely close processes.Assist with divestiture billing and administrative reconciliations.Serve as a liaison and provide accounting support and guidance across departments.RequirementsEducation:
High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's degree/Bachelor's degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.Additional Preferences 3-5 years of accounting experience.Well rounded accountant who is comfortable jumping in quickly and taking ownership of work.Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to identify issues, develop solutions, and present recommendations to leadership.Intermediate/Advances Excel skills. Experience with PeopleSoft is a plus but not required.#InternalOps
