Senior Project Accountant responsible for revenue recognition, financial reporting, and ERP optimization in an industrial manufacturing environment.
Job Requirements
BS degree in Accounting
4+ years of experience in an industrial manufacturing setting, or 7+ years of general finance and auditing experience
Experience with percentage of completion accounting
Experience with MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Experience with fully integrated ERP systems such as Oracle or IFS
Strong analytical background with ability to interpret complex financial data and see overall business impact
Ability to work onsite full-time
Preferred Skills
CPA, CMA, or MBA
Experience leading revenue recognition and project reporting for long-term or project-based contracts
Experience with IFS configuration, user enhancements, and process optimization
Experience in SOX-controlled environments and interaction with internal/external auditors
Job Responsibilities
Assist in preparation, processing, consolidation, and analysis of monthly financial results
Organize and lead all aspects of percentage of completion accounting revenue recognition and project financial reporting
Assist in preparing business reports including capital projects, cost savings, financial metrics, and monthly presentations
Lead and participate in ongoing user enhancements and process optimization of IFS software across the company
Participate in development of the annual budget and strategic plan
Participate in preparation, coordination, and analysis of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial projections
Maintain and monitor financial reporting system interfaces
Ensure local ERP financial results are accurately reported into corporate systems
Maintain SOX procedures and support SOX and internal audits
Perform reconciliations of various general ledger accounts
Pay Details: $85,000.00 to $95,000.00 per year
