Job Description
The Head Quarters Financial Planning & Analysis and Investor Relations Senior Financial Analyst is a dual role responsible for providing financial support for the HQ FP&A and the Investor Relations team. For FP&A the position will be responsible for assisting with the monthly and quarterly Revenue deliverables, including key products, species, markets and therapeutic areas. The position will also be responsible for the preparation of financial templates, reporting packages and ad-hoc analysis related to the actual reporting, earnings process and the forecast/budget process. In addition, the position will assist with the budgeting and forecasting activities related to equity awards, royalty income and other HQ activities. For Investor Relations, this role will be a key participant in the strategic financial communication of Zoetis, helping to develop compelling investment narratives through effective message dissemination and proactive problem solving on key investor themes as they develop. The position will work with the VP and Director of Investor relations managing corporate access, coordinating analyst and investor outreach, as well as analyzing consensus vs internal estimates. The position will also assist with the quarterly earnings cycle including providing support for earnings reports (10Q/10K), press releases and preparing external public presentations. This role has high visibility and interaction with C-Suite executives
+ Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
+ Work closely with members of the organizational FP&A teams on the actual reporting and earnings as well as the forecast/budget processes
+ Prepare the distribution and the consolidation of financial templates to collect key variance drivers
+ Assist with the preparation of monthly and quarterly Revenue deliverables (key products, species, market and therapeutic area)
+ Assist with other HQ activities (equity awards, royalty income, etc.).
+ Join and participate at Finance meetings related to the earnings process and monthly/quarterly closes.
+ Develop presentations for Senior Management
+ Provide financial insight and strategic thinking
+ Prepare ad-hoc analysis where needed
+ Actively assist the Investor Relations team with Shareholder engagement operations such as, but not limited to, conferences coordination, material preparation and reviewing, etc.
Essential Skills
+ Education: Bachelor’s degree required – concentration in Finance or Accounting preferred
+ 3-6+ years of work experience
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
+ Ability to handle multiple tasks effectively
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills
+ Strong time management skills and the ability to function effectively in a fast-paced environment
+ Experience in Hyperion HFM/Essbase and Excel required; SAP preferred
Work Environment
The work environment involves working closely with the current finance team to capture processes. The position offers a hybrid work schedule with in-office presence required on Tuesdays through Thursdays and remote work on Mondays and Fridays.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Parsippany, New Jersey.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $60.00/hr.
