Description We are looking for a skilled Senior Financial Analyst to join our client's team just north of Columbia, South Carolina. In this role, you will provide critical insights and analyses to support business decisions, leveraging your expertise in financial modeling and variance analysis. Responsibilities: • Conduct detailed financial analyses to evaluate business performance and identify trends. • Develop and maintain complex financial models to support strategic decision-making. • Perform variance analysis to compare actual results against budgets and forecasts. • Create and deliver ad hoc financial reports to address specific business needs and inquiries. • Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational efficiency and effectiveness. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret financial data. • Support budgeting and forecasting processes to ensure accurate financial planning. • Utilize data mining techniques to uncover actionable insights and opportunities for growth. • Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures while performing analyses. Requirements • Proven experience in financial analysis, including advanced knowledge of financial modeling. • Strong expertise in variance analysis and interpreting financial results. • Proficiency in creating ad hoc financial reports tailored to business needs. • Familiarity with analyzing KPIs and providing actionable insights. • Solid understanding of budgeting and forecasting principles. • Experience with data mining techniques to extract meaningful patterns from datasets. • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. • Effective communication skills to collaborate with teams and present findings clearly. *Experience with SAP and Power BI highly preferred.
