Job Details The Senior Analyst is responsible for assisting the both AVP and the Manager of Finance – Physician Strategy with the financial responsibilities of the Medical Group. Serves as the strategic link between finance and operations for the Medical Group. Continuously performs financial analysis to ensure achievement of physician strategy financial objectives and support of CH’s mission. Works closely with Corporate Finance department and physician operations leaders to develop, implement, and monitor annual operating and capital budgets and longer term operating plan. Mentors and leads the financial analyst. DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES: Contributes to and consistently applies CH policies, procedures, and benefits to all customers and/or employees without discrimination. Provide assistance to all medical group departments related to the performance of financial management matters. Monitor group and departmental budgetary performance and internal controls. Conducts monthly expense, revenue, and volume monitoring through a thorough understanding of the general ledger and budgeting systems. Experience with Lawson, Strata, and Essbase all a plus. Utilization of Microsoft Excel models for financial analysis purposes and assist in developing financial models. Experience with pivot tables, complex formulas and creating graphs are a must. Assists in the preparation of Physician Enterprise budgets including, but not limited to, supporting schedules, memos and accumulation of financial and statistical data. Assist in developing and reporting of key financial KPIs. Produce monthly productivity report for all employed providers and practices Maintain/update as needed data for Tableau physician productivity dashboard Preparation and review of physician incentive reconciliations and provide to corporate accounting the monthly accrual for physician incentives Manage the capital spending for the Medical Group including day to day process: handling paperwork, submitting requests in Strata, facilitating approval process and all related follow up. Assist finance manager with enhancing and/or creation of process documentation and procedure best practices Identifies and implements opportunities to improve financial operations and performance. Assist in the development and mentoring of any junior financial analysts as well as onboarding financial training for staff members. Performs related duties as assigned and unrelated duties as requested. POSITION REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration discipline (Accounting, Finance, Health Care Management, etc.) Skills: Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be organized and able to assemble documentation to support work product. Strong PC skills required with Microsoft Excel proficiency mandatory and Microsoft Access strongly preferred. Experience with Strata and/or Lawson a plus. Excellent analytical skills are required. Must be able to work efficiently and independently. Experience: Three to five years experience required. Healthcare finance experience preferred. Salary Range USD $85,000.00 - USD $105,000.00 /Yr. This range serves as a good faith estimate and actual pay will encompass a number of factors, including a candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and experience. The salary range or rate listed does not include any bonuses/incentive, or other forms of compensation that may be applicable to this job and it does not include the value of benefits.
