Sr. Financial Analyst
**_Primary Purpose:_** The role of the Sr Financial Analyst is to ensure that accurate monthly reporting in conformance with Corporate and group policies and procedures. The analyst must be able to interface with departments including SG&A cost centers, Purchasing, Warranty, Facilities, IT, Tooling and Commercial on a regular basis to ensure integrity of the data. This individual must be able to review product costs and manufacturing process assumptions for reasonableness. The individual must be able to work closely with the manufacturing plants to ensure utilization of accurate costs in monthly reporting. **_Primary Duties:_** + Responsible for general ledger activity in SAP, including preparing and posting monthly /quarterly journal entries and special accruals. + Prepare account reconciliations including analyzing and resolving any variances and items over 90 days per SOX guidance. + Support with financial information for capital/fixed assets requests and submit capitalizations on time. + Support the Controller with the budgeting and forecasting of all SG&A groups and facilities groups. + Support all Purchase Orders activity i.e., PO creation and resolution with BBC and/or requestor, open PO's activity for accruals, timing on spend + Support the month/quarter/year end activities as necessary. + Support the preparation of annual budget deliverables. + Support internal and external audit activities as necessary. + Preparation of various finance analysis related to business performance + Coordinate and prepare all intercompany billings for services like contract labor, packaging and other x charged services. + Support ad-hoc requests and headcount reconciliations. + Responsible for the integrity of current and standard costs for assigned plants. + Actively assist plant controllers and cost accountants with resolving inventory costing and intercompany pricing issues. + Process cost changes on behalf of the manufacturing plants and review their raw materials, finished goods and material variances for reasonableness. + Coordinate the annual revaluation (roll-up) of standard costs and inventory values by working close with Plants and needed groups. + Adhere to US GAAP, Adient policies and SOX requirements. **_Job Specifications:_** + Four Year College Degree (Finance or Business desired) + 5-year experience as financial analyst or Cost accountant. + Experience in the Automotive Industry. + Working knowledge of SAP required (costing module) - QAD/MFG is a plus. + Good computer skills, i.e., MS Office, especially Excel. + English language conversational level required. + Proven interpersonal and teamwork skills. + Strong analytical/problem solving and decision-making skills + Excellent attention to detail and data entry skills **PRIMARY LOCATION** Central Tech Unit Plymouth MI ManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
