Job Description

We are seeking a Sr. Financial Analyst 4, Global Strategy & Technology R&D to join our team in Milpitas, United States. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for providing high-level financial analysis and strategic insights to support our global technology R&D initiatives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Collaborate as a trusted business partner within the Global Strategy and Technology (GST) org, including interacting with senior executives and their respective management teams.Directly support GST’s Memory Technology Sub-functions on all aspects of FP&A and financial decision support analytics, and provide financial expertise and insight on key deliverables and strategic initiativesResponsible for close, budgeting, and forecasting processes for sub-functions, and manage all aspects of analysis for the organization, including but not limited to, OPEX/CAPEX management, rolling 4 quarter forecast, variance analysis, monthly close, AOP (Annual Operation planning), and LRP (Long Range Planning)Drive financial modeling and analytics on key expense trends/metrics, risk, and opportunities to facilitate GST investment assessment, and work with business stakeholders to make investment trade-offs from a strategic technology point of viewWork effectively within a team and build strong relationships with business partners and finance stakeholders (i.e. Corporate Finance, BU FP&A, Controllership, etc.) across SNDKLeverage information systems and tool capabilities (Clarity PPM, Power BI, Python, etc.) to standardize and automate financial reporting and analysis to help stakeholders manage financial and operational performance; work in collaboration with Corp Transformation/cross-functional financial teamsDrive continuous improvement/enhancements on business and financial processes.Support or lead a wide variety of ad-hoc initiatives and special projects

QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting with 7+ years of relevant experienceSolid foundation in accounting, financial planning, and analysis with strong data analysis and system skills using Excel and other financial softwareAbility to build and cultivate strong relationships and be seen as a valued business partnerStrong financial analysis, financial modeling, variance analysis, communication (written and verbal), and presentation skills are requiredSelf-driven with the ability to take initiative and work independently to meet deliverables with minimal supervisionAbility to analyze and transform large data sources into actionable insights Solid business acumen, collaboration, and interpersonal skills with proven ability to develop and maintain effective business partner relationships at all levels of the organizationDemonstrated results in improving existing controls and processes, and ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems.Proven ability to multitask and deliver against aggressive deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.Strong financial systems/tools skills: SmartView, Oracle, Excel, and PowerPoint; Experience with Data analytics and PPM tools is a plus: Clarity, Power BI, Tableau, Python, etc.MBA preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits Details

An employee’s pay position within the salary range may be based on several factors including but not limited to (1) relevant education; qualifications; certifications; and experience; (2) skills, ability, knowledge of the job; (3) performance, contribution and results; (4) geographic location; (5) shift; (6) internal and external equity; and (7) business and organizational needs.The salary range is what we believe to be the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.  We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and this range is only applicable for jobs to be performed in California, Colorado, New York or remote jobs that can be performed in California, Colorado and New York.  This range may be modified in the future.You will be eligible to participate in Sandisk's Short-Term Incentive (STI) Plan, which provides incentive awards based on Company and individual performance.  Depending on your role and your performance, you may be eligible to participate in our annual Long-Term Incentive (LTI) program, which consists of restricted stock units (RSUs) or cash equivalents, pursuant to the terms of the LTI plan.
