Job Title: Senior Finance Analyst - FPA and CapEx Support

Position Summary & Key Areas of Responsibility:
We are seeking a skilled and highly motivated Sr. Finance Analyst who will be responsible for financial planning & analysis, reporting, and support of business operations for an IT department, including supporting the development of sophisticated and professional presentations for the IT Leadership Team including the CIO. The incumbent will build sophisticated monthly Outlooks (Forecast) for their area of responsibility evaluating and predicting IT program spending and return. Responsible for measurement, planning, and forecasting of IT activities and implications to income statement and balance sheet.
Resource will be responsible for reviewing business cases, informing entries for Software Cap and other PPE CapEx projects. Knowledge of Financial Accounting Standard Board (FASB) Accounting Standards Codification 985 Software: Costs of Software to Be Sold, Leased, or Marketed (ASC 985-20) is a plus but not a requirement.
Seeking a resource who is open to identifying and developing new capabilities to improve processes, efficiency of spend, and to financial methods/models of evaluating and measuring IT performance to be applied by Information Technology Services (ITS) team. Serve as a resource to IT partners and Finance & Administration teammates on analytical methods and financial measures for IT.
Key Responsibilities for Finance Analyst
• Assist in the consolidation of the CIO Office Actuals / Outlook (Forecast).
• Help create Financial Business Plan for ITS and preparation of ITS Headcount planning.
• Lead the consolidation of ITS Capital Actuals and Forecast.
• Assist in the Capital Appropriation Request or CAR process.
• Pull and update Oracle Transactional Business Intelligence, General Ledger, and Atlas financial reports.
• Create domestic and international purchase orders in Oracle ERP Cloud.
• Execute month-end activities including variance to forecast analysis, posting accruals and intercompany charges and amortization of prepaids.
• Manage and update monthly financial forecast in Anaplan with actionable analytics using Apptio.
• Assist in preparing management for Quarterly Business Reviews Work Environment.
• Partner with Finance organization, portfolio leaders and business owners to develop and continuously improve financial management and planning processes for the IT organization.
• Engage across the organization with strong customer service mindset to meet IT financial goals.
• Engage directly with C-Suite executives through high-impact presentations, ensuring timely communication and responsiveness in a fast-paced, high-visibility environment.

Basic Qualifications for Sr. Finance Analyst
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is required
• 4-6 years related experience
• Working knowledge of advanced financial administration principles.
• Demonstrated experience with financial systems and data query tools.
• Strong analytical skills including experience in financial planning and analysis function (FP&A).
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills including proficient excel skills (v-lookups, x-lookups, power query and pivot tables).
• Experience with Oracle Fusion, Anaplan, Essbase, WorkDay and Power BI is a plus.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills to executive management audiences.
• Strong quantitative and analytical skills for IT financials.
• Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to motivate and manage organizations across functional teams to deliver desired financial results.

Preferred Qualifications
• MBA is a plus.
• Knowledge of Financial Accounting Standard Board (FASB) Accounting Standards Codification 985 Software: Costs of Software to Be Sold, Leased, or Marketed (ASC 985-20) is a plus.
• Prior experience supporting information technology division.
