POSITION : REPORTS TO : LOCATION : Mumbai KEY PURPOSE This role will be responsible to manage Exports Logistics operations for India market with focus on Atta Exports. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Ensure delivery of cost-effective ‘On-time & In-full’ Export dispatches along with corresponding documentation by working closely with Freight forwarders, CHAs, Transporters and Plant teams. Coordinate with Business/Sales teams & International customers on Order receipt, Invoicing and Dispatches Interact closely with Sales and Manufacturing for ground-up monthly dispatch planning Work with manufacturing to ensure availability of required inventory without disruptions Define and ensure adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with respect to order processing, dispatches, documentation and maintain controls Track relevant incoterms, duties and draw-backs, export related licenses & compliance requirements, registrations etc. and stay updated in a dynamic market situation Manage export-related freight cost within budget as well as submit cost provisions on time Ensure timely payments to freight forwarders and other vendors Evaluate processes and identify opportunities to reduce risks and/or costs of Exports Interact closely with Business/Sales/Manufacturing to manage new initiatives C. KEY INTERFACES Sales team: Exports sales managers Operations: Plant operations managers Demand planner/Material planners Marketing team: Brand managers/Trade Marketing Financial planning team Legal and Regulatory teams Freight forwarders/Vendors International customers/distributor INCUMBENT PROFILE Understanding of market and customer needs as well as the products and associated issues Ability to function effectively as part of a team and gain cooperation of individuals across the organization Expert in Microsoft Office Suites, particularly Excel Strong analytical skills Exceptional interpersonal skills, communication (both written and oral), influencing, negotiation and conflict management.
