Sr. Executive Engineering Stores
PRIMARY FUNCTION Responsible for management of Enginering stores at site. MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES • Responsible for Engineering spares classifications/categorization and its management • Responsible for collecting and analyzing past consumption data to estimate the monthly consumption of Engineering spares as per classification/categories. • Responsible for laying standards for minimum and maximum stock levels and reordering quantities. • Responsible for planning the purchase schedule on the basis of consumption trends, stock level in the store, sources of procurement and lead time for getting the spares. • Responsible for vendor follow-up, filling of indents, purchase order and payment to vendors. • Responsible for opening new item codes and feeding all related information and standards in related software. • Responsible for verifying spare parts physically before accepting delivery and reporting shortage of materials and incidence of any sub-standard material to the Manager and intended department. • Responsible for updating bin cards at the time of issue and receipt of spares. • Responsible for ensuring that the night issue take place only for non-routine jobs and shift Incharges Update and sign the bin card on issuing any spare part at night shift. • Responsible for making regular entries in related software as per categorization – general items, capitalized items and spares on daily basis. • Responsible for preparing Returnable gate passes, signing it and getting them countersigned by competent authorities. • Responsible for MIS preparation (stock report, rejection report,GRNs, pending RGP etc.)and generating monthly reports of “Physical Verification” •Responsible for proper 5S in stores area and ensuring all material are stored in as per the safety and hygiene standards. EDUCATION: • Graduate preferable Commerce with Degree/Diploma in Materials Management. • 3-5 years of relevant experience in Stores Management in Manufacturing set-up. • Good knowledge on Spares Management • Exposure to SAP is mandatory • Interpersonal skills • Decision making Abilities • Analytical Skills .
