Trane is excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated and experienced **Service Technician – Chillers & HVAC** to join our team. In this hands-on field role, you will: 1. **Support Advanced HVAC & Chiller Operations** • Commission chillers and HVAC systems and ensure proper system functionality. 2. **Perform Expert Repairs & Troubleshooting** • Repair all types of HVAC equipment and respond to chiller and low‑side equipment complaints. 3. **Engage with Customers & Build Trust** • Conduct customer follow-ups, attend scheduled meetings, and maintain professional relationships. 4. **Contribute to Operational Planning** • Work with the Service Coordinator on technician movement, resource planning, and parts requirements. 5. **Champion Safety, Quality & Compliance** • Participate in weekly team meetings, follow EHS guidelines, and support vehicle and safety audit requirements. Where is the work: Mumbai What will you do: As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for delivering safe, efficient, and high‑quality service for chiller and HVAC systems. Responsibilities include: • Commissioning of chillers and HVAC systems. • Repairing all types of HVAC equipment. • Handling customer follow-ups and attending scheduled meetings. • Managing team coordination with the Service Coordinator for manpower and parts needs. • Leading weekly discussions with the team on safety, site audits, and backlog items. • Updating the Service Manager and Coordinator on monthly plans. • Attending and resolving complaints for all models of chillers and low‑side equipment per guidelines. • Performing timely preventive maintenance (PPM) as per company SOP. • Conducting RCA for failures and sharing findings with the Quality team and FFL. • Ensuring full compliance with Trane’s EHS guidelines. • Handling customer service requirements and generating service leads. • Ensuring timely and quality completion of assigned service tasks. • Providing daily reports to the office and ASM. • Sharing service reports with the deployer, including parts requirements. • Maintaining a valid driving license for two‑wheeler/four‑wheeler. • Ensuring compliance with safety and vehicle audit requirements. • Applying practical hands‑on experience in chiller installation, warranty work, and AMC services. • Using MS Office, Internet, and email tools for documentation and communication. What you will bring: (Skills & Competencies) • Strong technical knowledge of chillers and HVAC systems. • Practical hands‑on field experience in commissioning, troubleshooting, and repairing chillers. • Ability to coordinate effectively with the service team and customers. • Proficiency in MS Office, Internet, and email applications. • Strong communication and customer service skills. • Commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Qualifications: • Graduation, Diploma, or ITI in Mechanical, R&AC, Electrical, or Electronics. • Minimum **5+ years** of on‑site experience working on chillers. • Strong technical knowledge of chiller systems and HVAC equipment.
