Sr. Director - MVO Health System Engagement
**Job Title:** Sr. Director - MVO Health System Engagement **Location:** Us Remote **About the Job** The Senior Director/Head, MVO Health System Engagement is critical in orchestrating the seamless integration of medical capabilities and innovative solutions that align Sanofi as a strategic partner to health system customers (Integrated Delivery Networks, Medical Groups, Specialty Pharmacies, etc.), identifying opportunities to address system-level healthcare challenges and support advancement of objectives that align to the quintuple aim and improve care delivery and patient outcomes. This position will play a key role in developing and implementing a roadmap to build the Field MVO Health System team and related capabilities and will report to the Head, Medical Outcomes and Portfolio Strategy, as a member of the North America Medical team. We chase the miracles of science every single day, pursuing progress to make a real impact on millions of patients around the world. **Main Responsibilities:** + This role will oversee all MVO Health System Directors in the US, ensuring the medical engagement strategy and related initiatives and activities roll up into a cohesive One Sanofi approach in a manner that complies with Sanofi policies and regulations. + Lead the development and implementation of a roadmap to take the MVO Health System medical team from present to future state. + Develop and implement medical engagement strategy to align Sanofi as a strategic partner to health systems, moving beyond product-focused discussions to addressing system-level healthcare challenges with an aim to drive collaboration to improve patient outcomes. + Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies and tactics that leverage Sanofi's diverse portfolio to deliver comprehensive solutions across priority therapeutic areas and disease states where there are shared interests for building partnerships to address gaps in care. + Develop and lead national initiatives and educational programming on population heath management partnerships that are aligned with key portfolio priorities and external stakeholder needs. + Facilitate close collaboration and coordination with the MVO Payer team, MSL teams, commercial account teams, and other stakeholders to ensure an aligned and consistent approach to engaging accounts that may be symbiotic within the Healthcare Ecosystem + Develop a framework for strong cross-functional coordination to build an enterprise perspective on opportunities and medical engagement across key accounts; help shape a positive One Sanofi customer experience. + Collaborate with key field enabling functions, including Portfolio Medical Strategy and Solutions, External Partnerships/Field Outcomes Research, and therapeutic area medical teams to develop field scientific engagement tools and resources that drive impact and value for the customer with the aim to close gaps in care. + Contribute to and oversee the national rollout of medical strategy for population health initiatives, clinical informatics, quality improvement projects, real world research partnerships, and align MVO Health System Director activities to both global and local medical priorities (across the Specialty Care portfolio) and health-system stakeholder customer needs. + Contribute to the development of internal guidance, job aids, work instructions that guide appropriate and compliant engagement and activities involving quality improvement, health Information technology/EHR, and real-world outcomes research partnerships. + Define and implement impact measures and KPIs that demonstrate medical value for the business and for customers; provide performance oversight, through monitoring, reporting, and field engagements to ensure performance goals and medical objectives are consistently met or exceeded. + Lead the development of core medical capabilities and expertise in population health, health information technology/EHR, quality improvement, and RWE/outcomes research partnerships. + Identify and support medical innovation and field excellence initiatives to differentiate Sanofi's medical offerings and position the MVO Health System Directors as best-in-class partners to health system stakeholders. + Lead with an enterprise mindset, expand and leverage relationships across therapeutic areas, functional and business unit boundaries to identify/maximize opportunities for cross-functional collaboration and best practice sharing. + Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, regulations, and governance processes. + Responsible for managing medical field budgets for external collaborations and health system engagement initiatives, ensuring strategic alignment with relevant commercial account team counterparts. **About You** + Advanced medical/science degree required (PharmD, MD, PhD). Additional advanced degree in business, HEOR, health policy, or population health is a plus. + High degree of knowledge of relevant healthcare systems, the evolving medical landscape, regulatory and payer environment, and public health and industry trends to accurately identify key issues and opportunities that inform strategic and tactical decision making. + Deep understanding of data analytics, real-world evidence, quality improvement, and clinical informatics. + Extensive pharmaceutical industry experience in field medical outcomes (or equivalent) role, with field team management/leadership experience required.
