Location/Division Specific Information
Clinical Trials Division (CTD) partners with pharmaceutical and biotech customers around the world to ensure the right patients get the right therapies in the right doses at the right time – a concept that we internally embrace as “There is a Patient Waiting.” Our unique blend of services includes project management, packaging, distribution, transportation management and specialty logistics, ancillary supply management, clinical supply optimization, bio-repository storage and much more. As the General Manager, you drive site performance, including safety, quality, financials, employee morale, and customer experience. You will set strategies to achieve success in each of these areas. As a champion for change, you will bring flexibility and efficiency to the site and create value for our employees and our clients!
Position Summary:
The General Manager coordinates all activities performed by various departments (Operations, Supply Chain, Client Services, Quality, Engineering, Facilities, and EH&S) within the Fisher Clinical Services Mt. Prospect site. The position is responsible for formulating and administering long-range goals and strategies to achieve site targets and support divisional initiatives. The General Manager is fully P&L responsible for the site. The General Manager also plays a key role in developing and growing strong customer relationships.
What will you do?
Customer Experience: cultivate a customer-centric culture that drives a positive client experience by ensuring strong proactive communication and achieving agreed upon timelines
Quality: ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) throughout every area of the site
Strategy: determine optimal strategies to meet growth and financial targets, including CapEx plan, org structure, staffing design, etc.
Colleague Experience: create a positive work environment that fosters development, high morale, and low turnover
Financials: monitor and react to financial reports including pending/forecasted sales, revenue, spending, and profitability
Management/Development: provide coaching, guidance, and mentorship to direct reports and the entire site, and hold team accountable for achievement of goals
Demonstrate and promote the company vision
Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs
Minimum Qualifications:
BS/BA in business or engineering/sciences10 years of production operations and/ or supply chain experience5 years management experienceOutstanding analytical and problem-solving skillsResults oriented with strong decision-making abilityProven leadership skills with the ability to motivate peopleWell-developed communication and customer skillsPreferred Qualifications:

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Illinois is $192,700.00–$240,000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
