Sr. Director, Sterilization Services

The Sterilization Services Leader has responsibility for our end-to-end sterilization process, policies, and standardization of systems across Stryker. The sterilization services team will be responsible for researching and developing future sustainable sterilization methods and driving them from concept through feasibility. Additionally, the Sterilization Services team will represent Stryker at all external peer events to ensure the latest technological advances are understood and assessed, and Stryker’s position is well represented across industry working groups. The team will also have responsibility for leading and executing all infrastructure projects related to sterilization across Stryker, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and on budget to ensure no supply chain interruptions. Lastly this role will act as Global Process Owner (GPO) for Sterilization Stryker.
**Essential Duties & Responsibilities:** _(Detailed Description)_
**Sterilization cycles – Design and maintenance**
+ Owns Stryker sterilization process, policy, and system standardization across Stryker (E2E)
+ Leads Stryker Sterilization hub and spoke team which includes all design divisions, GQO and Supply bases POCs to drive sterilization modality alignment
+ Responsible for researching and developing future sustainable sterilization methods and driving from concept through feasibility
+ Represents Stryker at all external peer events to ensure all the latest technological advances are understood and assessed
+ Acts as an SME/SME team to resolve major supply related issues related to sterilization globally leveraging the hub and spoke teams where possible
+ Provides oversight and direction for all sterilization capacity, equipment and infrastructure additions / alterations
**Sterilization Process and technology**
+ Drive the latest infrastructural processes and technologies related to sterilization
+ Ensures all projects are delivered on time and on budget to ensure no supply chain interruptions
+ Responsible to ensure all infrastructure and equipment purchases follow and comply with all internal and external regulations
+ Supports Management of all internal capacity to ensure it meets all requirements to ensure safe and effective operations
**Sterilization advocacy**
+ Coordinates strategy alignment and governance of the global sterilization transformation process
+ Attends and acts as Stryker representative at all external advocacy and government meetings
+ Owns communication for strategic priorities, Primary gating point, liaison, and reporting for Global sterilization transformation to enterprise PMO groups and program leads
+ Manages prioritization and ensures on schedule execution of sterilization value capture
+ Works with manufacturing sites, divisions, QARAC teams, procurement and other relevant functions to ensure successful executions of all sterilization transformation activities
**Sterilization Operations and supply**
+ Creates, supports and executes all sterilization
+ Validations/strategies related to sterilization supply chain resiliency projects – central POC
+ Creates and implements Sterilization processes and procedures that support the reduction of ETO use
+ Leads and executes Sterilization cycle/family reduction strategies
+ Leads and executes Sterilization Modality strategies
+ Acts as a Sterilization SMEs for Stryker centrally Supports resolution to Sterilization issues globally, Where needed supports Audits
**Sterilization policies, proceduress and processes**
+ Create policy and procedures to enable standardized approach to sterilization alignment across Stryker
+ Drives QMS / RA alignment to support sterilization transformation in an agile manner utilizes our product transfer process
+ Responsible for building appropriate process and procedures as we ramp and build new infrastructure in the sterilization supply chain
+ Main POC for all interactions with Quality regulatory bodies during submissions and supports major interruptions to supply when needed
**Sterilization Organization and Team**
+ Manage, lead and develop a team of sterilization professionals , fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
+ Allocate appropriate resources to efficiently and effectively meet organizational and business objectives
+ Drive and create a culture that aligns to stryker mission and values
+ Ensure that we create development programs internal and external that reflects the changing sterilization environment that in turn drives the right development of the team
+ Collaborate, support and align with Divisional resources to find and rive outcomes to potential issues
**Education & Special Trainings:**
+ Bachelor’s degree (Supply Chain Mgt, Business, Finance, or related field), MBA or Masters in related field preferred)
+ 10+ years of experience as a successful MFG/Quality/Business professional with 8+ years as a successful leader preferably in the Medical Device sector
+ Demonstrated experience with strategic planning and implementing programs to ensure strong governance, resource alignment to key priorities, and performance monitoring
+ Demonstrated experience leading process standardization and continuous improvement in complex, matrix organization. Willingness to enforce standardized processes and refine them when provided feedback
+ Experience implementing transformational changes and processes in a complex organization

+ Knowledgeable about Sterilization, Regulations and E2E supply chain
+ Viewed as source of truth for reporting, processes, and other questions by Stryker for Sterilization related questions
+ Project management experience required; certification preferred
