Job Title: Snr. Director, Marketing Operations & Digital Experience

Reporting to: Chief Marketing Officer, Gordian

Job Summary: The Snr. Dir. of Marketing Operations & Digital (MOPs) will own technology, program management, analytics and website experience for Gordian, and will drive operational clarity, collaboration, and execution across the entire Marketing organization — working with Growth Marketing, Product Marketing, Brand, and Communications and extended Gordian teams.

This person will lead the systems, tools, and workflows that ensure our Marketing team is focused on the highest-impact work. From sales & marketing waterfall, program management, campaign planning, budget, digital web experiences, including eCommerce, this role will bring structure to a dynamic and fast-moving team. You’ll be responsible for scaling how Marketing gets work done — efficiently, cross-functionally, and in alignment with Gordian's broader business goals.

Functions within the marketing operations team include program project management, marketing automation & technology, websites and ecommerce operations, database management, analytics and reporting. 

 

Responsibilities

Lead the implementation, management, and optimization of marketing automation systems, revenue operation systems, ABM systems and CRM integrations. Own website experience and eCommerce engine (Gordian.com, RSMeans.com) leveraging user experience best practices, SEO, AI optimization, enhancing customer experience and leveraging strategic product positioning to increase conversions and boost transactions. Drive the sales & marketing waterfall and develop, analyze, and report on key metrics to gauge marketing and sales effectiveness and business impact.  Drive lead management processes, including lead scoring, segmentation, and nurturing strategies. Architect marketing campaigns that customize the value proposition to unique digital buyer journeys and drive growth in targeted verticals rooted in VOC. Align sales and marketing teams on campaigns, lead prosecution process, and facilitate seamless execution. Manage key marketing systems and tools: Marketo, Qualified, 6Sense, WordPress, Magento, Asana, Canto, ZoomInfo, etc.  In collaboration with the Data Ops team, own the analytics and reporting to measure marketing program effectiveness in pipeline generation and new business acquisition. Own program management to ensure effective campaign and program execution.  Champion and leverage AI tools and processes to drive efficiency through automated workflows Champion customer journey engagement and intent data for effective and efficiency segmentation and messaging Own budget development and tracking, including ROMI and ROI of marketing programs. Foster organizational talent, team growth and champion the adoption of FBS/process improvement practices within the department.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. 7+ years of experience in digital marketing, marketing ops, or revenue ops within B2B high-tech industries, 3+years managing a team. Experience in managing complex website operations and familiarity with Magento or Shopify, WordPress, Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, Boomi, Identify Server, and other relevant platforms. Knowledge of UX/UI, SEO & AI optimization best practices. Strong technical background with experience in systems integration, API management, and marketing automation tools. Marketo, Salesforce, Salesloft, 6sense, Qualified, Optimizely, etc. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, including with senior leaders Excellent analytical, leadership, and project management skills. Proven track record of working with cross-functional teams to achieve revenue and retention goals. Comfortable leading complex change and optimizing processes for accelerated revenue growth. A track record of scaling processes, removing friction, and improving visibility in complex orgs Experience managing budgets,agencies, vendors, or external partner workflow

Bonus or Equity
This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package.

Pay Range
The salary range for this position (in local currency) is $111,500.00 - $207,100.00
