Overview The Senior Director, Global Learning Strategy and Experience is a key leadership role within PepsiCo’s Global Learning & Development Center of Excellence. This role is responsible for shaping and activating the global learning strategy, driving innovation and advancement in learning experiences, and ensuring alignment with PepsiCo’s business and talent priorities. The role will lead a team of learning professionals and collaborate across the broader Talent Management COE, People function, business units, and functional capability teams to deliver a scalable, impactful learning ecosystem and seamless, compelling learner experience. This leader will be instrumental in orchestrating a culture of continuous learning, aligning external trends and future-focused needs, and integrating learning into the flow of work. The individual in this role will be a true learning thought leader with deep functional knowledge and experience in globally complex organizations. The role plays a critical part in evolving PepsiCo’s approach to learning and enabling transformation in this space through unifying our efforts, amplifying our impact, evolving and modernizing our operating principles and inspiring others to reimagine how learning comes to life for our associates every day. Responsibilities As the Senior Director, Learning Strategy and Experience, you will have the following key accountabilities: Learning Strategy: Define and optimize the global learning strategy, creating alignment with PepsiCo’s talent and business priorities, and balancing current needs and future aspirations. Learning Architecture: Build and sustain a world-class learning brand known for delivering impact and results while also creating efficiency; drive integration across global, regional, and functional learning solutions to ensure seamless, connected experiences aligned with enterprise priorities. Learning Experience Design: Champion innovative, learner-centric approaches including digital learning, experiential learning, and social learning and remove points of friction and inefficiency where possible. Skills-based Approach: Cultivate and champion a skills-based development framework that aligns workforce capabilities with evolving business needs. Learning Technology & Analytics: Drive the learning technology roadmap and leverage data and analytics to measure impact, inform decisions, and continuously improve learning systems and platforms. Learning Culture: Enable people to learn in ways that drive consistent high performance for individuals and the organization, creating conditions that amplify the impact of learning at all phases of their career. Cultivate Innovation: Inspire possibility by acting as a leader with vision on ground-breaking, emerging and relevant trends centered on learning impact and business relevancy. Team Leadership: Lead and develop a high-performing global team of learning professionals, fostering collaboration, innovation, excellence and team member growth. Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as a strategic advisor to senior leaders, TM/People partners, and functional capability teams to ensure learning solutions are aligned, relevant, and impactful. Governance: Establish governing principles, protocols and processes that enable consistency and scale, unlock synergies, leverage and simplification and promote continuous improvement and iteration. Learning Measurement & Analytics: Articulate learning impact with a data-driven approach to assess outcomes, reach and audience value; Optimize ROI and inform learning investment through clear metrics, dashboards, and actionable insights. Vendor & Partner Management: Oversee relationships with external learning partners and vendors to ensure quality, innovation, and value delivery. Compensation & Benefits: The expected compensation range for this position is between $151,200 - $300,000. Location, confirmed job-related skills, experience, and education will be considered in setting actual starting salary. Bonus based on performance and eligibility target payout is 30% of annual salary paid out annually and an additional target payout of 15% of annual salary is paid out over 3 years following the end of the performance period. Long term incentive equity may be awarded based on eligibility and performance. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: 15+ years of progressive experience in Learning & Development, Talent Management, or Organizational Development, with global scope and scale. Proven track record leading a high-performing learning organization Forward thinking with an ability to set direction and motivate others on what is possible Proven track record of designing and implementing enterprise-wide learning strategies and systems that deliver high learner impact and strong business performance. Deep expertise in adult learning principles, learning/learner analysis, instructional design, learning technologies and design thinking Strong business acumen and ability to translate business needs into learning solutions. Exceptional consulting, collaboration, stakeholder management, and influencing skills, including experience working with senior executives. Strong analytical and storytelling skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions and communicate impact. Expertise and experience navigating through organizational complexity and ambiguity.
