OverviewThe Sr. Director, Global Contracts will be responsible for assisting the General Counsel in handling HireRight’s contracting with customer and distribution partners and supporting a variety of teams across the business. They provide advice and recommendations to executives, management, and team members regarding matters of varying complexity which have or may have a material impact on business activities and operations.
This is a hybrid position located at our Corporate Headquarters in Nashville, TN.
Responsibilities Oversee the global customer-contracting function for the enterpriseManage the domestic and international contract teams of lawyers and non-lawyersManage our customer-contract lifecycle, including through completing the rollout of our contract lifecycle management softwareDocument processes in policies and proceduresCreate and track metrics of successBuild training and playbooks on contracting-related subjectsExecute projects to mitigate other identified contracting weaknessesAdapt to change in our legal environment, including by continually updating our form agreementsNegotiate HireRight’s largest customer dealsProvide legal advice to internal clients about customer contractsAssist other parts of the legal department on matters with contracting implicationsDeeply support our group that manages our relationships with applicant-tracking and similar software providersOversee specific programs as assignedReport regularly on these activities to the General Counsel and, as required, to the Chief Executive Officer and Board of DirectorsPerform other duties as assigned by the General Counsel or Chief Executive Officer Qualifications Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school Admission to a state bar and in good standingMinimum 8 years of experience as a lawyer with commercial, customer-side contracting requiredExperience handling a high-volume contracting program directed at commercial customersExperience managing a team of lawyers and nonlawyers (domestic and international)Managing employees in other countriesExperience implementing an electronic contract lifecycle management systemExperience Handling contracts for distribution channelsExperience working in a highly regulated industry preferredExperience working for a technology, information, or technology- or information-enabled services company preferred What do we offerIn exchange for your expertise, HireRight offers an excellent employee benefit package which includes:
